Feeling very motivated this week... if any of you know I find cross training and health important. I find it empowering to be the strongest I can be. This workout was focused on hip stability and proprioception...Thank you to @catzpasadena for physical therapy back then and you and @athleticgaines now for whipping me back into shape after years of going to gym every day and on the Pilates reformer. Also feels good to get back into my more plant based diet this past year. Feels good to get back and to elevate this dancing #traintuesday
One of the most overlooked benefits of CBD is its ability to combat drug and alcohol addiction.
“How could you even use CBD for addiction?” you’re probably asking.
And you’re completely right. At a glance, it seems pretty bizarre. And to be frank, some would even interpret it as a load of BS from companies just trying to sell more product.
I mean, how could CBD be used to treat so many diverse conditions, of all things addiction?
As bizarre as it may seem, there’s actually a ton of medical research backing the effectiveness of using CBD for addiction, and when you think about how CBD interacts with our body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), it all makes sense.
Did someone say chocolate? Emiliano Cantaño did!
After a life-changing study abroad trip to Paris last summer through @mdcollege, he collaborated with his classmate, Fabián Rojas, to launch their very own 🍫 company, @maisonglobale.
We’re so #MDCProud of our students and can’t wait to try some chocolate, please!
#WhyIGive : Dr. Mohsin Jaffer believes in fostering a dialogue about Islam as both a global religion and a world civilization. “We brought our support to MDC because it’s very important that our youth going to college understand the rest of the world.” We appreciate the support from the Mohsin and Fauzia Jaffer Foundation to create a new program at @mdcollege.
