#animeexpo day 2 (second cosplay)
The second day of Anime Expo was probably the hottest I’ve experienced in my three years of attendance. The temperatures that day had reached triple digits (115-117°F). Luckily, my cosplay outfits for that day were loose and didn’t require me to put a shirt on.
Which doubles my anxiety of walking half naked around dudes who have more aesthetic physiques than I do, or that they happen to have better progress on their cosplay bodies (cosbods) than I do (which is a lot of the people I follow here). My first cosplay of that day was Gray Fullbuster for the Fairy Tail gathering.
If you notice on my droopy pecs, @kisatamura did a great job of removing my tattoo.
That’s some Fairy Tail wizardry right there.
If you’ve seen me in my Rin Matsuoka outfit that day, I still had the Fairy Tail logo on my chest.
Despite the Samezuka Academy swimming outfit I have on, there’s still people, who took pictures of me, and my swimmer friends, still got confused about whether I was in Fairy Tail or Free! Iwatobi Swim Club cosplay (or a crossover?). I mean.....my wig looks so bad since I didn’t have time to restyle it (that piece of hair going down my face could use some trimming and rearranging). I guess they think it’s gender bent Erza?
I still have Gray’s tattoo on my chest but how am I “Fairy Tail?” What if that was an actual tattoo on there? Is that going to make everyone think that every cosplay outfit I wear, pretending to be a cosplayer and all, that I’m a Fairy Tail character?
