We all heard of the 'I have a dream' speech by Martin Luther King, but did you know that two years after the speech, he wasn't as optimistic as he used to be. He said his dream turned into a nightmare due to the vietnam war, urban riots, indifference to black poverty and more.
What is your legacy? Kids? Money? Business? Charity work? Humanitarian? Inventor? Difference maker?
Whatever you chose to leave behind it would be best for your special IT to add something to the next generation and to this planet.
Many people will leave this world unnoticed. Sure they will be visible to their family, friends and strangers. But to really be noticed in this world and in this life, you need to stand out. And you stand out by doing something beyond what your current circle of friends and even your own family, thought was impossible for you. It may even be something that YOU thought impossible.
Whether you want to #act , #sing , #dance , play an instrument, save someone or an animal, join the army and become an #officer , #skydive off the #burjkhalifa , walk up an active volcano, start your own business, become a producer in entertainment, write a novel, write a screenplay, climb #mounteverest , experience #ayahusca , live with #inuits ...etc. It is all possible.
Not only will these experiences take you out of your routine life they will introduce you to people and adventures that will grow you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
In amongst all of that you may even find your calling. What might stop you is not family, kids, job, or even money. It is what you are willing to sacrifice to get what you want.
Some people will love you for doing it, some will hate you for doing it, and some won't give a crap that you are doing it. If you can still be passionate and determined to do it regardless of who loves and hates you, then you will be making a difference to your life and eventually to your world.
We are all going to die anyway so why worry about opinions that won't matter at all when you take your last breath? I know. A bit morbid. But that is the honest truth and I don't care.

From the Deep State to the Deep South. A few Days in the Capitol, meeting with senators and the USDA about the upcoming Farm Bill. Followed up with some southern hospitality in Alabama, Cotton fields, corn, catfish, grits, fried chicken and peaches. Thanks to Dennis and the Newby family for being fantastic hosts. #washingtondc#alabama#birminghamalabama#cotton#martinlutherking#iputon5kgs
I Have A Dream..💔 He tried so hard but look at the world now! Have it changed?! Yeah, maybe a little bit. But we still have a loooot to work on. The racism is all over the place, you maybe think it have changed but it is still there! For example: Why is it in Sweden so fucking much votes on SD?! And why is Trump a president?! Those are two big examples that shows how much racism that still exists in our world. #stopracism#blacklivesmatter#equality#martinlutherking#makeamericagreatagain#fucktrump#fucksd
« I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal." I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; "and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together." »

Murals on a public school (x2 photos) remind us to respect and honor the teachers who taught us and teach our children, and the great leaders who have shown us how to take action to fight ignorance and injustice in all its ugly forms.
