We promise you will learn something. We are on the corner of Old Canton and Roswell Road in East Cobb Georiga
100 miles, 8 hours, about 15 linked neighborhoods, two kids, handfuls of flyers, we made sure we drove every single road we could get our wheels on. There have been almost daily sightings, even after a whole week she is still trying to find her way home. If she is fighting, we are not giving up.
The challenge is that while some dogs that go missing want to be found, we are learning that she is terrified and she does not. The search is much more difficult. We have notified nextdoor groups, fb groups, lost and found networks, local vets, rescues, non-emergency PDs, HOA groups, friends, and family.
I would be lying if I told you I didn't cry when I see her pictures. I see Sophie, a fighter, trying hard to find her way home. After losing her, I am channeling my grief into helping her twin, Violet. Her Mom, Laura, and fiancee, Dan, are such incredibly genuine and loving people. We discussed details through tears when we finally talked on the phone for 40 minutes. The thought of what Violet is going through or the possibility of these beautiful people suffering the loss of a pup, it is overwhelming.
This week my son had an injury and emergency tooth extraction, husband gone for work, travel from my home state to in-laws for kids, to Auburn for 48 hours, back to in-law's, to then go back to my parents then East Cobb to search the following day. 3 states in 5 days with kids, and you know what? I wouldn't change it, not a damn thing, and I would do it again tomorrow. That is what friends do. You stand by their side. You tell them yes, you SHOW UP. Remind them that if someone offers to help, you say yes. You post flyers. You alert every group in the county. You give it hell. And proceed one day at a time. Sophie, if you are watching, I hope you are proud. I miss you, send us your strength. No dog left behind.
If anyone can or is able to help In the search of Violet, please let me or @lk_cal know. It is appreciated more than you may ever know.

How To Transition Your HVAC From Summer to Fall
1. Inspect and Clean Your Air Filter - Cleaning your air filter helps reduce indoor contaminants in the fall and winter, when you’re most concerned with staying warm and keeping excess allergens out of your home.
2. Clear Your Air Vents - Your air vents (also referred to as registers) need to be cleared and cleaned for full efficiency in all seasons.
3. Clean Your Humidifier - Dry air can lead to dry skin, irritated sinuses and throat, and itchy eyes. Checking that your humidifier is clean and clear of clogs in addition to changing the water panel in the humidifier will help ensure efficiency so it can offer the relief it’s supposed to.
4. Schedule a Professional Maintenance Check with @accuairhvac and let us handle all this and more for you!
