#wellnesswednesday . “If the food molecules that move down your digestive system are too big, the nutrients don’t make it through the intestinal wall between your digestive tract and your bloodstream without having to bang against the wall, forcing their way in. Then, the intestinal wall gets inflamed, which means red and swollen. That turns into a stomachache. Once the food molecules finally do enter the bloodstream, they meet up with red and white blood cells. The white blood cells are supposed to meet up with the intruders like bacteria and viruses. But when the food molecule is too big, the white cells think the food is some kind of evil invader-like bacteria or a virus- and they do white white blood cells just love to do: destroy the enemy.” This is a great kids book taking then on a ride through the digestive tract. I know a few adults who could use a gentle reminder too. This is a small change that can have a big impact. #nutrition#enzymes

Following the success of The Warrior Within Sattva Yoga Sessions are back in August!
Join me for a deeply spiritual and transformational Sattva Yoga Practice on Saturday, 18th of August, when we are going to focus on balancing our Heart Chakra and removing any blockages that might cause negative effects on our physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health. We’ll be working on letting go of insecurities, anger, grief, jealousy, fear and we’ll have a powerful experience as we allow our hearts to open, as we allow others to see us how we are, without masks, without hiding, only the true essence of our being. And while we are letting ourselves be volnurable we are going to experience love, acceptance and compassion that will fill our hearts so it can be a peaceful, joyous and engaging place.
As deep as it sounds, the practice will be a lot of fun! Expect breathwork, kriyas, mantras, chanting, shaking, moving, shouting and whatever needs to emerge during this powerful experience!

Entscheide dich für eine der beiden Methoden und mache sie mindestens zwei Wochen täglich.
Sitze in einer aufrechten und entspannten Position. Lasse den Atem kommen und gehen. Atme durch die Nase. ‚Schaue‘ deinem Atem zu. Wenn du die Bewegung des Atems in der Nase spürst, dann hilft das deiner Konzentration. Wiederhole nun folgende Sätze jeweils mehrmals in deinem Atemrhythmus: „Einatmend bin ich mir bewusst, dass ich einatme – ausatmend bin ich mir bewusst, dass ich ausatme …“ „Einatmend nehme ich meinen ganzen Körper wahr – ausatmend nehme ich meinen ganzen Körper wahr …“ „Einatmend bin ich mir meiner Gedanken und Gefühle bewusst – ausatmend bin ich mir meiner Gedanken und Gefühle bewusst …“ „Einatmend lasse ich Gedanken und Gefühle zur Ruhe kommen – ausatmend lasse ich Gedanken und Gefühle zur Ruhe kommen …“ Am Ende der Übung atme dreimal tief durch und öffne dann die Augen.
Den Atem zur Ruhe bringen heißt den Geist zur Ruhe bringen.

Be an asset wherever you go, and you will always have somewhere to go. Never show up on a job and discuss what you won’t do. If there’s a problem, speak up. Offer solutions, not complaints. Look for positions that will best suit you. Try not to take positions that you know you don’t want. You probably won’t perform well. If have to take the position for some reason, do your absolute best and work on an exit strategy. Always leave on good terms if possible. Another position will come along. Live within your means. Take care of yourself. You are more than your profession. Your purpose is greater than you can ever imagine. Make a difference right where you are. You’re amazing.
