When you know how to use LinkedIn the right way to build your personal brand; it becomes a honey pot of clients and more clients 🤩🍯💰. It’s a big part of what I’ll be teaching you in my new Impact and Influence coaching program (apply via the link in bio ☝🏾).
Read below what career coach, Helen had to say, now she knows how to use Linkedin the properly. If you’re a coach, consultant or service-based business owner, let’s talk 🤩💃🏽
”I’ve just got 2 paid clients! Each day I'm getting 3-5 LinkedIn invitations mainly from my ideal client! Since meeting you, I have been ridiculously consistent and focused. I'm so so grateful for your help and coaching to get me this far. 2019 is going to be unbelievably successful - I can't wait!!”
“Since meeting you, I have been ridiculously consistent and focused! I have created a strategy and plan to go with that (which I have set & achieved 50% ish of my goals). My LinkedIn connections are at 3126 connections (she started with less than 50 only a few months ago!)
I had a foreign holiday in October- finally! And I've booked some holidays for 2019 already and have a plan in place for more (with a few more paid clients). “
It's okay to not always know the next step. Sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith and feel your way forward.
Perhaps you've been toying with the idea of joining my Tribe or doing something totally new but the uncertainty is holding you back???
Let me ask you this: what will your life look like 5 years from now if you don't change a thing? Are you okay with that?
If you are not, then a little bit of courage and a leap of faith is in order my dear. .
There is a saying about over-estimating what we can achieve in a year and under-estimating what we can achieve in 5. .
It starts with you though. Saying YES to yourself. Saying YES to your future. Saying YES to your dreams and then just going for it. Even if you feel completely clueless and unprepared, you'll figure it out in the doing. .
DM me for a bit more info on what my fabulous Tribe and I actually do and if it could be a good fit for you. At the end of the day, it doesn't have to be your one and only thing but it can be the vehicle to help you focus on what really sets your soul on fire.
Seven years and a couple of days ago I was sworn in to the New York State Bar. This is a pic of me and @floradoni29 right after the ceremony. I started my legal career almost two years prior to this day (taking full advantage of an exception brand new law grads can get in entry level attorney positions with city government) and so on Thursday I'll be marking 9 years of service to NYC.
It's been a long road full of variety - I've worked in 4 offices and in 4 distinct attorney roles within this time. And as I get ready to rest ahead of the new work week I consider all that I've done, what I'd like to do next and how to get there.
9 years in and in many ways I am only at the beginning of something career wise, still discovering what I'm supposed to do with my law degree.
There are so many people in the world that talk on and on about how life is alllll about “balance” and when you find your “balance” everything in your world will suddenly make sense. What these people rarely talk about is the journey that is finding this elusive “balance”. What the world isn’t telling you is that this journey is going to be MESSY and hard and incredible and painful. They don’t talk about how this journey is dancing and singing at the top of your lungs in your kitchen on Saturday nights but in between songs reminding yourself to take your vitamin D because if you don’t that seasonal depression is going to smack you the face tomorrow morning.
The world doesn’t tell you that there are very seldom moments where this journey will be attractive and sexy BUT there’s going to be so many smiles and memories that you’ll be more than thankful for later.
No one talks about the tears, so many fucking tears, as you battle the what if’s and the why’s.
They also don’t tell you that you can be scarred stiff to concur your fears and go after what you what but that doesn’t mean you’re not brave enough to do so. What they don’t tell you is that you should follow @strongchicksrock right now because she will give you the reminder that it’s okay to be brave and afraid every. Single. Day. (Plus it really is okay and you’re going to be proud of yourself for weeks after you accomplish your first scary thing!!!) What they don’t tell you is that while you’ll lose some parts of yourself you’ll discover even more amazing things about yourself and the world.
They don’t tell you that you hold everything you need to create the life you dream of inside of yourself and that all you need to do is make the decision to start today. They don’t tell you that you’re going to fail so many times but each time you’ll be one step closer to exactly what you’re looking for. Start right now and never look back.
If you could believe in yourself for 5 seconds what’s the first step you would take? Now go after it. 💕 #sassywithcassy#casscutsback#sundaysermon
