FEAR paralyzes. LOVE moves.
I remind myself this every day, every time I hear of more injustice, racism, abuse, greed... every time I hear of more pain and suffering being caused in the world. Leaving me feeling completely out of control. Paralyzed. Then like the wave of inspiration I’m reminded that the one place and person I can control is myself. So I find ways to love myself, my family, my community, my neighbors, my foes, the world and the earth... and watch the ripples of love move. ..
Will you be at Porter Flea next weekend?! Let me know below ⬇️ - would love to see you there! This will be our second time at @porterflea (Nashville) and we are pumped! What do you think of this white turquoise + a touch of gold flake Moonrise pendant?! I love wearing white turquoise - known for it’s well being, purification, & healing properties. ✌️

• Telling a story with a painting can seem challenging at times. As I put the characters together I really don’t have a plan. Just lay them out and see where it goes. Try not to plan too much and just let the story evolve. At least that is what I keep telling myself. Everyone has their own read of the meaning. I usually do this and hope for the best. And then I come back to the piece a couple of weeks later and see if there is any resonance. In this piece there is. Loving the nuance in this painting. •
• It will be shown at my next event @toaeart #torontooutdoorartexhibition which will be held on July 6-8 @nathanphillipssquare
