A little fact for you all on Monday morning. All of my prints and greetings cards are printed on 100% recycled paper, and packaged in a bio-degradable polythene. I also make the majority of my macramé’s using 100% recycled cotton cord. Luckily for me, I love how the print looks on the recycled paper stock and the recycled cord is a great option for macramé’s. Surely that’s a win win scenario 😊🌿
Monday color experiment. It’s Winter in my part of the #Australian world. Orange is my new black. I’m a little obsessed with it. There may not be a word that rhymes with orange but there are certainly rhyming colours.
This is today’s little combo.
I bought these little leaf plates in a Melbourne op shop. Their only role and function is to add beauty to my life and that they do. Little leafy eye candy.
I’ve crocheted a bazillion orange circles in a range of sizes but I’m not quite sure what I’ll make with them. Stay tuned...or not.
Have an inspired day. 🌺
💛I was interviewed for 'Own Your Story' podcast recently to talk about my journey as a creative lifestyle entrepreneur. For as long as I can remember, I have been the go-to person for sourcing craft ideas & supplies. 🤓Sometimes I get consultation requests too by those who want to turn their passion into biz. I am pretty open when it comes to sharing about my experience & journey as a creativepreneur.⚡I like to think that this was meant to be; in sync with my creative path and what I do for a living, coupled with my corporate experience. That was how I started teaching classes & workshops and consultations. And I couldnt have done it with the support of the community all these years. So if you have any questions, want to pick my brain or learn arts & crafts, ask away or book a sesh with me.💓💓💓
These sweeties will be hitting the shop tomorrow! Therapeutically perfect timing working with rain umbrella fabric this morning. My skin is covered with sun kissed tan lines from the beach yesterday but today is rainy and grey and that’s okay.💖💖💖
I try my best to keep up with a very active partner, but sometimes I just want to stay on shore and read instead. I’m so enjoying this new book/journal by @ckelso and this page fit perfectly today.
We paddled to a deserted rocky point and I read while he wandered on the water and fished. I highly recommend you pick this book up #brightestlifejournal if you’re into creative self-discovery - I started following Caroline here on Instagram a few years ago by participating in her #betterletteringcourse and have learned so much more from her content and story, along with her partner Jason’s, since then. Tomorrow they launch their newest project over @wanderingaimfully and I also recommend you have a peek if you’re curious about one of the bigger online influences in my life.
Also, that’s not fog in the photo, if only we could shake this smokey summer too!
