Entwined Forest // Babywearing Dads
Do you have a Babywearing dad in your family or are you a Babywearing dad? What is your carrier choice? Our Babywearing Dad (Craig) loves using our Evolve for our kids but does wrap sometimes.
Top of my wishlist this week are these kitschy Australiana cuties from @koogii_kreative 🐨💗🐨.
I let out a high pitched squeal and a grunt of encouragement when I stumbled across Kate’s work that must of sounded exactly like the mating call of a chlamidya infested horny #koala as my dogs jumped off the couch and looked at me funny but seriously, these #lasercutjewellery by #koogiikreative are that good.
Along with the nerdy #koalas and gorgeous #gumleaves I am a big fan of #conversationhearts so my shopping cart is going to be quite full of this amazing local brand.
Can’t wait to see what else she brings out x
So many questions over the last few days I thought I’d pop a bit of a post together to cover what’s been asked.
I found out super early, conception was only 3weeks but with pregnancy for those that don’t know they count from when your last period was which then adds 2weeks so I was “5weeks” when I found out hope that makes sense to you all. I will share how I found out, but I’ll leave that for another post or maybe my story.
I was sick pretty much from the get go, nausea & head aches hit me so bad right up until about week 14, I was also exhausted 😴 for about 5-6weeks I literally got up went to work lived off dry crackers came home & went straight to bed, from the nausea & the exhaustion I was good for nothing.
They call it morning sickness it’s NOT it’s all day sickness & was worse for me in the evenings. Food wise & cravings I lived off crackers, cheese & mayo for a few weeks. I went through a phase of mash potato & gravy, plain ring sugary donuts. I couldn’t even look at the foods I was so used too. And what broke my heart was I hated tea for weeks 😂 I used live for my cup of Barry’s tea before bed before I got pregnant. A craving that has stuck around is my ham cheese & mayo sandwiches I have to have that for my lunch everyday. OBSESSED... has to be Helman’s mayo & Charleville mature cheddar cheese. And right now I can’t get enough of red meat especially fillet steak & new potatoes 😍
No training at all for me from weeks 5-14 I was just so burnt out. But now that I’m getting back to it I feel so good. And both Conor & Thomas are telling me I’m improving with each session. At the moment it’s only 2 sessions a week I want to work up to 3 and then get plenty of walks in between. We are still keeping it very basic with training at mo but as the weeks go on and I progress I’ll share in more detail what I’m going with both @coachsfitness & @coachtomcork.
Now that I’m well into my second trimester my hormones have really settled again, a few weeks back I’d cry over the smallest of things & believe me when I say this I’m not one to cry not normally 🙈😂 can anyone relate? *continued in comments
Well well well .... Tony Tresider is now sporting our kerchiefs .... he answered the phone with Ambassor Tresider speaking .... how chic. Matches his trousers. Plus he's a great skier. Sorry Prince Charles.... you are not the only one to rock a mankerchief anymore and these fine ones were made in the convict colony. 😀 . If you are in Thredbo visit his family store Snow Sports and of you see Tony wearing a kerchief give him a compliment and tell him Mr. Papillon says hi.
Next week i am taking a bag of silks and some scissors along with my patterns to show my daughter and her kindy class how we make ties and bow ties. And one of my great pleasures in life is when i get a visit from my daughter at the Studio and i watch her sift through the fabrics at her own pace. 'Oh i like that one daddy. Its beautiful '. Let's hope one day she takes over and turns a profit.
Without question, The Anna is our most popular style. Is it the luxe leather-look inner panel? The fabric that sucks in all the right places while feeling free and comfortable? Or is it the fact that we’ve made activewear look positively like going out attire? We have a hunch it may be the latter. 🙌🏼
My latest work always seems to be my most favourite one, until I make something new and improved. My last kiln firing yielded this little guy along with a few other ones, that I love just as much. It is a wheel thrown, trimmed, altered and pierced porcelain cup. It is a survivor, as it could have called it quits in each one of those steps, yet it didn’t. And here is why I love it so much: it’s a living, breathing (not really, but you know what I mean) proof of how all these different techniques can work nicely together and I can do it again, but more than that I can keep testing and pushing more and more and keep finding new answers to what if question. @silkwayceramics
