Paranubes Rum is made from fresh pressed juices of sugarcane, grown in the rich soil of a cloudy mountainside farm in Oaxaca.
Combined with hibiscus, habanero, and lime to create a truly magnificent cocktail. 🏔
The “212” from my visit to @nobudowntown @nobuworldwide 👍🏻 This riff on a Manhattan included house made black sesame infused Cocchi Vermouth di Torino...the black sesame came through on the nose but was not overpowering! This was my favorite cocktail of the night! 😍🙌🏻
I’m still processing what I experienced tonight at The Aviary in NY! If you have followed me for a while you know this spot has been on my must visit list for a long time. To be able to hang out with the whole team and just watch them create guest experiences from the chemistry lab they call a bar was incredible! This porthole cocktail infusion was just one of the many incredible drinks we enjoyed today! Huge thanks to @grant_achatz @micahmelton @aidanunderpressure and every member of the Aviary NY team that showed me around today - you were all amazingly hospitable! Stay tuned for more videos! 🙏🏻

All ingredients except the soda are poured in a mixing glass, dry shaken (no ice) for two minutes, then ice is added and shaken hard for another minute Strained into a highball glass without ice and topped with soda
“Henry C. Ramos invented the Ramos gin fizz in 1888 at his bar, the Imperial Cabinet Saloon on Gravier Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. It was originally called a "New Orleans fizz", and is one of the city's most famous cocktails. Before Prohibition, the drink's popularity and exceptionally long 12-minute mixing time had over 20 bartenders working at the Imperial at once making nothing but the Ramos gin fizz - and still struggling to keep up with demand. During the carnival of 1915, 32 staff members were on at once, just to shake the drink.”

1 oz Rye Whiskey
¾ oz Mezcal
½ oz Dry Vermouth
½ oz Bénédictine
2 Dashes Xocolatl Mole Bitters
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and then add ice, stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange.
