But I’ve gotta keep working to get those numbers down more. Started off my morning with my favorite spin class, where I got to celebrate some little personal victories. For the first time ever, I broke 90 rpms while standing on the bike. Typically my max was 75. And I maxed out at 360 watts, my previous max was 350.

Throughout this challenge, @lisax23 has been giving our team little mini challenges. Last week was to try something new, so I tried a TRX circuit class and I loved it so much that I couldn’t wait to go again this week. 
This week, our challenge is to do 30 push ups a day. One of my goals this challenge is to improve my push-up, so here goes this week!

Still rocking this keto mojo! In Ketosis 24/7 for at least a month solid. And a majority of that has been in the optimum range of fat burning. 14lbs gone in 5 weeks. I’m suspecting I’m reaching fat adaptation phase but not so sure yet.

Spin class is done.  Class was called don’t crack and it was brutal.  I’m excited I was able to push and stay in zone 4 for over 20 minutes.  I’m not 100% so it was a huge win to mentally push for that.  There is seriously no better feeling than you finish a tough workout and you are dripping sweat and feel a little nauseous and you know you gave everything you had. I decided to try a new class and took the TRX circuits class on Monday and man was my whole body SORE. It took 3 days for the soreness to finally fade. After that, I needed lower impact workouts so I opted for Pilates and had an much needed foam rolling class. Today I got to meet with Lisa, who has been an awesome coach and motivator throughout this challenge. She helped me get back on track and helped me get some structure before I go away next week. I wanted to share my stats from this week. I took off down the delta with friends this past weekend which meant 2.5 days of drinking excessively...lol. I did stick very closely to the other dietary restrictions though. Anyway, Sunday would have been our weigh in but we did it Monday instead. I gained fat and weight and had lost muscle(I was still pretty active over the weekend though and I'm sure that helped). So, no alcohol and monitoring my eating habits shows that in 3 days I was able to get back on track and... my weight dropped the lowest it's been in forever! I'm pretty proud of myself regardless and plan on building more muscle and trying to reach 16% body fat. I have 3.5 more weeks till this challenge is over. On my birthday I decided I wasn’t going to let fear hold me back this coming year. I’ve alwaysssss wanted to get back to dance, but was so afraid of putting myself in a position that makes me uncomfortable, and look crazy as I get back into it. Well tonight was day one of this practice with this team, and it was HUMBLING. Rusty doesn’t even begin to describe!! There were several times during the Team Cut workout tonight with @cameronjrattray where I thought “there’s no way I can finish this” or “this movement is too hard for me” or even “I wonder if I can ask him after this round to change something”...these thoughts crossed my mind maybe 4-5 times throughout the hour. But literally every single time, Cam would give a word of encouragement, remind me how strong I am, how far I’ve come, and push me even harder. To be faster, stronger, more stable, more balanced, know more, be more mobile, and push myself harder each and everyday.
AND I FINISHED! Only had to adapt one move because it was giving me neck pain. 😇

Day 24: kicked my day off with spin class where I pushed myself over 300 watts during a power drill. Also weighed in today and I’m proud to say I’m down 4 lbs from last week. So far I’ve lost 6 lbs in these 24 days, and 9 lbs in a month.

Day 24: kicked my day off with spin class where I pushed myself over 300 watts during a power drill. Also weighed in today and I’m proud to say I’m down 4 lbs from last week. This week is the halfway point of the fall 60 day challenge! I've been doing so good......but this weeks weigh in told me something different. Even though I "lost" weight the other numbers told me different. I gained some body fat and lost some muscle. This is just a reminder that the number on the scale doesn't mean EVERYTHING. 
I'm gonna keep going strong and get my numbers going in the right direction again!

I do give myself days off, as often as I want. That’s what’s different this time. I’ve been too strict with myself before, pushed myself too hard, and all that leads to (for ME) is stress, burnout, negative self-talk, and binging. This time around it’s not about a rush to transform myself, or even a race to a goal. This is about being aware of what my body’s strengths and weaknesses are on any given day. To celebrate my body and tend to it as needed. I am a masterpiece and a work in progress at the same time. (Side note: I love these group fitness rooms that are usually empty by the time I get to the gym at night. I can work out without feeling self-conscious, which I do...a lot, lol)
