What a day! 3 important things happened today. .
📷 3. I made a new set of scones even though I didn't have unsalted butter or blueberries! How did I do it, you ask? Well, I'm a goddamn genius and I was thinking about all the bacon grease I have been saving and decided to make maple bacon scones! They're goooood! I'll post a recipe for them tmw if anyone is interested. Let me know in the comments.
. 📷 2. I went and saw one of my favorite people (it's only been a year, no big deal) @melaniethemajestic and got a 14 month touch up on my hair. 🤣🤣🤣 I love love love it! She didn't just read my mind, she surpassed what I was hoping for! And I just had a really nice time hanging out and talking with her. 💜
📷 1. I did an assisted pull up today! Now, all bullshit aside I was using a REALLY heavy duty band and at the bottom it was supporting most of my weight. But this is still a big deal for me. I've been using the dip/chin up machine for these and it's like a life long dream for me to ever do an actual pull up and also a life long belief that I never will. We'll see! For the first time in my life today I could imagine someday doing a real pull up... Thanks to @alysethabeast for showing me how to use the band and to @trombadeo for helping me with it every time. And for taking that video! Your commentary was awesome. 😂
I'm so lucky to have and incredibly grateful for all the wonderful, supportive, and entertaining people I have in my life. Forget money and stuff... I am a wealthy woman in the areas that really matter.
This meal pretty much left me speechless. The Port @stjameshotelrw Shrimp cocktail, Scallops in lemon butter sauce, mushroom fricassée, asparagus with sauce gribiche, and even a couple bites of filet mignon with béarnaise. Just the perfect meal.
Carbohidratos NETOS: 4.69 gr
Proteína: 7.14 gr
"Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!" - @drseuss 💫
Don't let Fear get in your way, just try! You've got nothing to lose. You might even surprise yourself. I dare you! 🌠
Weekends are for burgers, right?! 🤪
I made a cheeseburger with @smartbakingcompany ZERO carb bun. 🍔 I also had some @questnutrition chili lime chips. They are so bomb, if you haven’t tried them you’re missing out! I bought a box from @amazon!
Day 20 of the 31 day carnivore challenge 📓
Pork rind crusted pork chops + 1 sunny-side up egg
I crushed up the pork rinds and added smoked paprika, onion powder, black pepper & pink Himalayan sea salt. Dipped in egg wash and then the crumb mixture. Placed in the air fryer and cooked them at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. Came out crispy! 🙌😄 Added an egg on the side - cooked in butter. 👌
Didn't have high expectations of these since I don't usually find frozen food to taste that great but HOT DAMN these are SO good!!! Found them at Walmart for $3.97. They're 190 cal and 2nc. The size is pretty small but they seriously taste really good. The red sauce is kinda cheesy and the quality of ingredients is awesome. Definitely worth trying. @realgoodfoods
A small lunch-snacky thing @stockholmpieandgeneralstore Whisps and the insides from half a ham and cheddar sandwich, plus a cappuccino. This place is super cute. Unfortunately, no keto pie. Luckily, I make my own.
Shitty keto but still keto. 😉 and I actually cook at home all the time but like I've mentioned before, I work from my car so I make do while I'm working if I can't make it home to whip something up real quick. Was stoked that I caught their breakfast menu before they changed over to their lunch menu.
WHAT I ORDERED:
Bacon egg and cheese biscuit, Egg whites instead of the folded egg. Just personal preference. Apparently I have a thing with eggs. 🚫NO BISCUIT🚫 although they still gave it to me. I took a deep inhale then threw it out. 😆 #justkeepingitreal#dirtyketo#ketofastfood#ketoatmcdonalds
Since it has been a little chilly the last few weeks I decided it was time for some soup! This #keto soup was delish!! I will defiantly make it again! And I was craving a grilled cheese! So I whipped up a piece of my 90 second bread and make a quick keto sandwich. I’ll post the soup recipe below. .
QUESO CHICKEN SOUP.............................
1 can of chicken.........................................
2 cans of Rotel...........................................
1 TBS avocado oil......................................
3 C chicken broth......................................
1 TBS or more to taste Taco Seasoning....
8 OZ cream cheese...................................
1/2 C heavy whipping cream.....................
*In a pot heat oil, add rotel and taco seasoning for a few minutes. Add chicken to pot and warm. Add broth and warm. Slowly add cream cheese and cream. Do not let it boil. I actually took a little warmed broth out of the pot and used my immersion blended to mix the cream cheese and cream and broth and then added it all back to the pot. Mix together. Add any toppings you like. I added cilantro and avocado. You could add jalapeño or whatever you like.
Beautifully placed on top of my washing basket 👸🏻 Oh baby!!!! Lunch was really good!! I struggled to eat it all. 🙊
Today we had:
2 boiled eggs
60g smoked salmon
2 handfuls of raw spinach
Sprinkle of chopped spring onions
30g of soft cheese
Cheeky sprinkle of mixed seeds
Pink Himalayan salt
📷 Friday fun night and I'm splurging with some Chinese food! Broccoli beef. Cashew chicken. Garlic eggplant and tofu. Delicious!
📽️ We watched the best worst movie of all time. Troll 2, which had no trolls in it. It did have carnivorous vegan goblins in it, however. And a whopping IMDB score of 2.8.
This lil cutie patootie got 5 inches cut off of her hair tonight, AND a fancy In N Out hat💃🏼Woo hoo!
Speaking of #innout ....how do you like your burger??? I love a double double, protein style and animal style🤤🍔
