To be your best, whether it be with your work, at motherhood, being a partner, a friend, you have to take time to look after yourself - something I admittedly don't do enough.
So, yesterday was spent at @peninsulahotsprings for some much needed R&R 🧖♀️🧘♀️
I'm now ready to hit this week with a 👊🏻
Princess for a Knight is a boutique children’s store with clothing ranging from newborn to size 16, from traditional baby wear to hip and funky street wear for all occasions. When Princess for a Knight opened eleven years ago, it was known for stocking exclusive European brands for small children. New owner Peta notes that in the last decade the increase in start up fashion labels has enabled the business to expand its size range, and to stock beautiful Australian brands at all price points.
Peta says “PfaK is not about having the most expensive products, its about stocking good quality brands that can be handed down through the family and enjoyed for years to come.” This philosophy is evident in Peta’s own shopping history. “My grandfather was always fitted for suits by Doug Haynes, my mother and father have shopped there since I was a little girl and now my own family are very familiar with the store. It’s very simple why our family has supported the store over three generations - good quality products with exceptional service.”
As a boutique business unique to Mildura, Peta and her team, Emily, Christie and Matilda believe it’s important to locate Princess for a Knight in Mildura City Heart. “Boutique shopping is an important part of our tourism culture and being close to the restaurant strip is a huge advantage.” .
“The more people support local shops the more the local shops can offer their customers in choice of products, choice of brands and choice of opening hours.”
We love cold brew and iced tea - if you’re looking for a chilled cup that is less bitter and less acidic than hot coffee, you’ve found it! We have two different kinds of cold brew and a wide variety of loose leaf teas - come into any of our stores to find which one best suits you. Our baristas love to talk about them. 💚☕️
In case you were wondering there are a lot of empty rooms in my house! Furnishing our home has been a long and wonderful journey. Someday soon they’ll hopefully all be full (ahem @jflandersdesign !!) but until then I’ll just enjoy my ability to pop up against the wall in various places... #day182#handstand365#365daysofhandstands#lovewhereyoulive
Our favourite crows stopping in for a visit to bask in the sun. Apparently they sit in the direct sunlight as it helps to suppress feather degradation and other benefits. So they sit, bask, and pant with their mouths open... and Rio 🐶 is about two feet away, doing the same thing. 😎
