Happy hump dayyyyy 🤗 we’re basically halfway through the week & I’ve never been more excited (honestly) for a Friday before 😂 not only is big little reveal Friday BUT the new Halloween movies comes out and I’m going to see it... I saw the nun last night (it was okay) and the preview for Halloween came on before the movie and I was smiling through the whole mf trailer, people probably thought I was weird as fuck😂😂😭 anyways, after 10x10 sumo deads, squats, hip thrusts, jump squats AND hamstring curls, it’s safe to say my legs will be sore for DAYS. But I’m so proud of myself for accomplishing it. I hope everyone has a wonderful day 😊😊
Today was Rest Day in my #liift4 program so we did #piyo scult (it was amazing; gotta love how great you feel when its done😘
What are you doing for Hump🐪 Day? My day will consist of my PD, I've got a training call I want to relisten to, a few follow ups to do and carry out my regular day of massaging, I am thankful my workout for the day is outta the way as when i finish massaging today it will be full of running kids here and there, pucking them up from their activities - gotta love being busy😀👨👩👧👦💖 Dinner is ready to go in the oven as well as tomorrow's is ready for the crockpot🤩 can't believe it myself - lol

Taking the time to let your body heal and rest is key!
Embrace it and allow yourself the time you need to take on the rest if the week. 💜This new 8 week program I am doing is freaking fantastic. 3 days rest!!!! It allows me to enjoy this busy time of life and still get in the best shape of my life.
I love weights and I have a love hate relationship with HIIT lol
But 4 days a week and around 30 min a day is SO FANTASTIC!! 👉What is your favorite thing to do to rest?

“Don’t focus on the pain”⠀
Pain is a response, a signal that something is not right. Therefore, if you feel pain in an exercise, something is not right.⠀
The point of exercise is to function and move better so if something is causing you pain, STOP ✋🏾 ⠀
With my clients, I tell them if they feel pain let me know - we can adjust or alter the exercise. ⠀
There is a difference between pain, and something being difficult. Don’t quit and exercises just because you feel pressure or have trouble getting through it. Soreness is normal. Pain is not.

📌Truth About Progress By 📌
🔥This concept is so massively important & ridiculously underrated that it gets overlooked all the time.
📈On paper progress *seems* like it would be linear but it’s just not.
🤷♂️Whether the goal is losing fat, building muscle, building strength, getting faster, it doesn’t matter.
📉When measuring progress you want to look at the overall trend of the graph, not get caught up in the current ‘low’ you’re feeling.
📊Even looking at the right side of the picture the lows are still progress from where you started.
🙏You need to trust the process, understand that there’ll be days you’ll fall on your face, but just keep moving forward after the goal.
