⚡️M U M・H A C K・M O N D A Y ・#4 ⚡️ When you get your meat home from the supermarket/markets - marinate it *before* you put it in the freezer!
It gives the meat extra time to soak up the flavour, and when you come to that 'omg-what's-for-dinner' moment, you've already got half the work done for you.
My favourite is lamb cutlets marinated in olive oil, garlic, a dollop of dijon mustard, dollop of wholegrain mustard and 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar (even kids love this one).
Just pop it all in a sandwich bag (or reusable plastic container) give it a mix / swish and whack it in the freezer. DONE!!

The down side of drought? One of them at least, is poddy lambs. But hey, the upside of drought? Poddy lambs! Evie’s babysitting these two for @warranillafliss and I have to say they’re pretty darn cute.
I think I got this one just right, the holy grail, the perfect roast leg of lamb. Too pink? Is there such a thing? How do you like your lamb? There’s no veg this time, this ones just for sandwiches and cold cuts for lunches. When I was going to school my lunch order of choice was a devon and sauce sandwich. (Ugh I know! There’s no accounting for taste right?) I can’t even imagine how appalled mum was 😮 Now I just love a lamb sambo with home made relish (or mint jelly) and fresh baked bread - you can hold the devon please 😜
