I firmly believe that strong event branding makes your wedding a thoughtful, meaningful, and intentional experience for your loved ones. By carrying elements through from your save the dates into your invitations, and into items on the big day gives the entire day a sense of cohesion and purpose. Color palette, art elements, script styles, crests, and monograms can all help solidify your event branding. Custom stationery isn’t just the invitation - it goes beyond that, and having one vendor be able to help with all these elements will make them seamless (and give you sanity). Here, the couple’s monogram was custom foil stamped into their Kippot, the traditional head covering for men, worn during a Jewish ceremony. That detail isn’t crucial to make your day happen logistically, but it certainly makes your guests take a second look and say “wow, that’s detailed.” That moment shows them how special they are to you, because it’s so thoughtful on your part.

Is it just me or do you hate the feeling of obligation? There’s nothing worse than feeling obligated to do something when you don’t want to do it. But can you remember the feeling of relief and joy when those plans somehow got cancelled?? Oh my goodness, those are the BEST feelings! Even if you used that extra time to sit at home—who cares? It’s YOUR time now!
Are you stuck in a place of being torn from left to right and in every which direction from family, friends or your coworkers?.... •
“Can you babysit for me this weekend?” “Will you work for me on Tuesday?”
Do you automatically feel obligated to say YES to every question?
Why in the world do we agree to something if we actually don’t want to do it??
Well, simply put…it make us feel important, needed and wanted.
We HATE the word, “No”. This word has such a negative emotion associated with it because we correlate, “No”, to rejection—and we HATE being rejected!
Think about this…..if you’re saying YES to someone, you’re probably saying NO to someone else, and this ‘someone else’ is probably a loved one (YOU are included as being a loved one).
Being selfish with your time isn’t always a bad thing! Nurturing relationships, including the relationship you have with yourself, is very important for a continuous happy and stress free life.
I encourage you to start saying NO to the things that stress you out, make you feel obligated, don’t serve you or get in the way of YOU and your loved ones! •
Try this out the next time you’re asked to do something! Be prepared for the amazing feeling of relief you’ll encounter when, “NO”, starts becoming apart of your vocabulary.
Missing The Unseen already! So many thanks to everyone who attended the show, opened up to me and told me their stories of messages and symbols from their lost loved ones. What a joy it has been to hear them and give you a hug afterwards. This show was hard for me as I was never planning on talking about my mother but ended up talking about her “visitations” every night in order to explain and convey the meaning behind the work. As an introvert it was hard for me to open up about something deeply personal. But I did, and you all received me with love and an “I know”. This is what art means to me- truly connecting with people. I’m so grateful for this platform and for everyone who came and supported this medium.
A year of this and some days I feel like I just started.
This week especially has been just HARD.
Not with the kids, not with my marriage, not with the errands, chores or daily life but with myself...
My mental mindset this week is lagging. I’m in a funk and it’s starting to mess with my motivation. I’m fighting with myself trying to stay on this path, and its wearing on me.
It could be that my hormones are going crazy since this is the FIRST week I’ve stop nursing my daughter. It could be the fact that a loved one is going through a really difficult time and it’s out of my hands to fix it. It could be the weather, and all the stuff in the air that’s screwing with my sinuses is causing me to have a horrible headache for a week straight now.
Whatever it is, I’m pushing hard to fight through it.
One things for sure, knowing I have the support of a group of women that are going through similar days and making me feel I’m not alone, really helps A LOT.
So if you’re holding back because you fear that it’s going to be hard...well it is. Some days will be better than others but it’s still going to be hard! If it were easy everyone would do it! But I don’t want you to be everyone, I want you to be YOU. I want you to take a chance for YOU. I want you to get over the fear for YOU. I want you to do it for YOU with US because the hardest thing in this journey is doing it ALONE!

Sending mad love to one of the best people in my life 👩❤️👩 Growing up with you involved many hair pulling fights and constant bickering over what was yours and mine. I can only hope your daughters give you same grief you gave me growing up. 😳 Aside from that, I love you heaps and hope you had an amazing weekend! We all love you. Happy 40th Kimbo 😘❤️ 🎂🍾🍷#lifeisgreatwithsisters#happybirthday#weekendaway#familia#nearestanddearest#lovedones @kim_plant @jen.sdk @jessvyt
Ровно год назад не могла бы подумать , что всё будет именно так. Каждый проведенный момент , каждая ссора -это наша с тобой история . И не жалею не минуты проведенного времени .
Ведь больные идиоты они созданы друг для друга ...
Thank you @seriously.simone for all the love & support
