Geminids peaking tonight and tomorrow! Here's a really quick dirty composite of a few smaller meteors I managed to catch during a time lapse I made last night. I'm out of practice with my astronomy and astrophoto. It's like riding a bike, so here's my first ride lately. Got lucky with a little aurora in there too. Drama added by the light from Fort Smith, Northwest Territories.
The black sand of Diamond Beach. The teal chunks are from a nearby glacier, and that pure black ice back there is from a volcano. This beach looked as if it was filled with glass seals sunbathing in the waves. Don't turn your back to the ocean or massive chunks of ice may be coming your way. Always keep your extra gear on your back at all times from high tides.
Almost Weekend 🙌
So wish I was heading away for a holiday during the last two weeks of 2018. If you are heading out for the festive period be safe, stay off Instagram, enjoy your time with your family and friends 🤘🤘
