And today we left #London after 6 big days ... the kids wanted to go on the Thames river cruise and the Eye and enjoyed neither! 😳 The Lion King was a hit, as were the playgrounds and catchups with @anondalem and @katelem. Kids have slept incredibly well (thank you time difference and big days) and Darby is obsessed with the Tube. #Camden markets were awesome - several times (thanks @calliecoach ) and I never thought I would be drinking an oat milk latte - but they rock! You’ve excelled again London, now time for #Ikaria for 10 days for our #longevity experience with 18 super souls. 🇬🇷🇬🇷

Congrats to Kovy @ilyakovalchukofficial on returning to the NHL at 35 yrs old and signing a 3 year deal with the L.A. Kings. The @lakings get a great player with the heart of a champion, incredible work ethic, and the desire to win the Stanley Cup. We are such creatures of habit... and a little bit of taking the easy path. 🤔 We reach for an unhealthy #snack because making a #salad 🥗 takes too long. We pop an aspirin 💊because it’s right in front of us. We buy a chemical filled bottle of #shampoo because the woman in the #commercial had such beautiful hair 👩🎤 after using it! (Oh.... and it’s cheap! 🤭) Research has become a chore. We’re too busy.... too lazy.... too complacent... too comfortable.
Good health is more than working out 🏋️♀️ and eating broccoli! 🥦It’s knowing what you put in and on your body. It’s taking the time to read labels, doing the #research , and making good choices. 🤓 It’s not hard, it just takes time... INTERMITTENT FASTING RESEARCH PAGE
I keep hearing people say that the only research that has been done on #intermittentfasting is on rats and animals - this is untrue.
This may be true when it comes to looking at IF for longevity and slowing the ageing process (there are many variables and it’s very difficult to measure it’s effect on humans because we live for such a long time).
There is in fact a growing body of evidence pointing towards the other positive effects on humans like improved blood pressure, increased insulin sensitivity, reduced oxidative stress, reduced hunger, an effective way to control calorie intake, and fat loss.
I have created a page dedicated to HUMAN studies on Intermittent Fasting for you all to read for yourselves.
Do these studies prove that IF is for you?……No.
However, if you are looking to optimise your health, fitness and physique there is evidence to suggest that it might work for you - its free, low risk and you can implement any way of eating into an IF schedule (vegan, vegetarian, dairy free etc).

Je ne vais pas décrire cette méthode ce soir mais elle a fait évoluer ou confirmer ma vision sur pas mal de points. Mon cerveau à besoin de repos avec la tonne d'informations reçues.
Le but était de travailler de façon «active» sur des amplitudes de mouvements de manière à gagner en mobilité articulaire, avoir des articulations fonctionnels et qui durent. Beaucoup trop d'athlètes et de coachs vivent avec des douleurs ou blessures mal soignées.. notre égo nous empêche de prendre le recul suffisant. Le puzzle se met en place dans ma tête entre mes lectures, ma pratique, mon application quotidienne.
Des courbatures de partout mais c'est le jeu 😅

I won't describe the method in this post and let my brain digest the ton of useful information we got, not only on mobility but also on being a better coach, athlete, humn being.
To briefly sum it up the goal was to work and improve over time, ACTIVE range of motion, in other name: MOBILITY and not FLEXIBILITY in order to do what I like in a healthier manner: Lifting weights, Running, Playing Rugby and plenty other cool shits 😅

I don't often talk about business on my personal page but in all honesty after 20 plus years I do believe we offer the best customer experience that we are able to in store and online. People may not always agree but I am more concerned with providing factual information rather than simply getting the sale. We all work too hard to be lead astray with false information.
**We never go in for the hard sell but more so to educate the customer or Team Members and family as we like to say. We want the customer to get exactly what they need and nothing more.
Personally speaking I Have spent the better part of my life in the gym, with clients or customers and beyond all I really dislike it when people get sold on quick fixes. There are no quick fixes. All depends on the person and there goals. If its simple longevity or trying to look badass but live a super social life we can do it but it all depends on the starting point and the willingness. I could rant right now but will leave that for another day.🏁

This weeks #selfcare sunday series will focus on mobilising the spine.
There should be a great deal of movement capacity at the spine, across ALL of the joints. When we lose motion - some of the segments end up moving excessively and others poorly. This uneven distribution of force can lead to numerous orthopedic issues of the spine and neighboring joints.
Regular and purposeful movement will keep the spine healthy and functioning well. Here’s a few favorite moves wrapped up into a nice little sequence. Get this done today to feel all kinds of awesome 🕺
📝Draw the biggest smoothest circle with your chin.
______ 🔹T Spine CARs
📝 Now were going to take the T spine (upper back) through the greatest rotational range of motion. Round the upper back. Twist the shoulders. Side bend. Extend back. Side bent. Twist the shoulders. Extend the spine (think drawing a circle with your head).
🔹Cat / Camels
📝Tuck the tailbone and round the back. Tilt the tailbone up and arch the back.
🔹T Spine Cat / Camels
📝Sit on your heels and perform the cat / camel just for the upper back.
🔹Lumbar Spine Cat / Camels
📝Forearms down, Head to floor. This blocks the mid back so you can focus on the lumbar spine - moving in and out of lumbar spine flexion / extension.
🔹T Spine Windmill
📝Lie on your side, bottom leg straight, top leg flexed to 90. Open up the top arm and think about rotating through the shoulders.
🔹T Spine Rotation
📝Sit on your heels and. Press arm into ground. Hand behind head. Rotate the spine by leading with the elbow.
