Currently editing our sessions and couldn’t resist sharing this gem. Susie and I have been friends since SAMO high school and have witnessed each other’s growth from young women, to women, to mothers. Its such a great feeling to be able to document those we cherish in our lives. #santamonicanatives#samohi#piconeighborhood @ptsusie310 @mariponvar #arnoldandmari
"I had an absolute blast with our engagement session." -Tucker ⠀
It seriously makes my heart explode to convert guy after guy into a photo lover!! 😉😂😉 So many men are: ⠀
A. Not stoked on the idea⠀
B. Think this will be the least fun thing ever ⠀
C. Are super nervous ⠀
D. All of the above ⠀
I can totally empathize with that! So I've worked really hard to create a way to make sure every dude that shows up for a couples session has a blast! I love showing them that it can actually be really fun and rewarding! ⠀
After it's all said and done, all of my grooms are expressing how surprised they are with how comfortable they felt and how much fun they had. It totally makes me so thrilled to hear this each and every time!!! ⠀
Just look in her eyes full of love😍

"He’s my best friend and I want to do everything in life with him. Whether it’s a trip to the grocery store or a music festival, it’s an adventure and we make the best memories together." -Elissa⠀
From a couple who have ridden camels in Abu Dhabi, been to countless music festivals, kayaked in the Persian Gulf, and have ridden the world fastest roller coaster... it's pretty cute to hear that even a grocery store trip is made special just by being together!! ⠀
I’ve often wondered what it will feel like to have a ring on my wedding finger. I ask that question a lot of couples after they get married, “How does the ring feel?”
Some of the answers,
It reminds us of the covenant.
The vows and promises made.
It feels weird and new.
It’s still being broken in.
You may not always be aware of it just like anything else you routinely put on or something you don’t take on or off.
But it can be the one thing that brings you back to that place, when you become cognitively aware of it once more.
Feeling the weight of it.
Not a negative weight. A weight which holds such significance and glory.
The altar is a powerful place.
Remembering Summer and Kevin’s beautiful vows and wedding day on this rainy, cozy evening 🌧
how sweet it is to be loved by you🌼
Sarah + Chris... pretty much the coolest couple around. He’s a DJ and she made that jacket herself! I can not wait to shoot their wedding because I know it will be so unique and full of special touches✨✨...not to mention it’s on the BEACH. 🖤🌊
another day of welcome rain and all we want to do is snuggle. anyone else open the windows to get a better listen of the rain pitter pattering...only to wonder awhile later why it's so cold in the house?
"Love is meant to be an adventure" - Gordon B. Hinckley
And boy, isn’t it? Such an adventure to love another person. So much trust goes into that sort of journey, and I know I say it over and over again, but I love being able to witness my couples truly adventure together in life. ✨
Amazing wedding in Santa Barbara!

"Her warmth and kindness created an environment in which we and our guests felt safe to let out authentic emotion, which shines through in the INCREDIBLE photos she took."⠀
When I found this little gem on my google reviews page I about cried!! ⠀
In this Instagram world, I've wondered if it's ok that I have a bubbly, happy, warm personality. Sometimes I'd wonder if people would prefer someone more cool, edgy, and moody for their wedding photographer. ⠀
It's not that I necessarily wanted to change myself, I just genuinely wondered if there were couples out there that didn't book with me because I was "too happy" or something? And the answer to that is YES. I'm sure that has happened. And that's ok. ⠀
My kind of couples love to laugh --it's basically all we do. They like to get a little wild and have a little fun. They value kindness over coolness, adventure over perfection, and real over fake. We connect over so many things it's unreal and become friends in quite a short amount of time. My personality fits with theirs and if I were pretending to be anyone else our entire connection wouldn't exist. ⠀
So, folks, this is just a reminder to be YOU even if it's not trendy right now. There is someone out there that will appreciate you just the way you are and can't imagine their life/wedding day/Friday night/dog photoshoot without you! 😂😉
A couple minutes after this photo was taken, I banged my forehead getting into the car and then Isaiah accidentally shoved his crutch in my eye socket. Throughout the day, I also hit my head on a tree, our Uber driver dodged a car and my drink flew, someone accidentally slammed a camera into my face, and a burly man fell on me. I’m okay! 🙂 @harlowplanning @floralsbyisabelle @isaiahandtaylorphotography @paperbirdweddings @ktchnla @calicraftcocktails @my.bridal.dj @danielmbeauty @adamlesimmons @lapinataparty @nevercloudyevents
This cold weather (for California) has me dreaming of our next travel adventures. We’re starting to plan our 2019 plans and I’m really excited about it.. Seattle, Pennsylvania, Mexico, Greece, Ireland, and Scotland are on the list so far. Where is your favorite place to travel to and where is your dream location you’ve been wanting to go? I’d love to hear your recommendations!
38 degrees is too cold for us, and here is Kayla champing it out. It was a couple hours after this photo was taken that I gave in and put on a beanie for their sparkler exit. Isaiah handed me a few hand warmers that I ended putting on my ears and the beanie held them in perfectly and now I’m wondering why I’ve never worn hand warmers in my beanie before!
