We LOVE Greek food! Could eat it every day. Aaron found this spot, Symposio Taverna, on Google maps, where it's rated 4.6. He and his mom took a picture with the owner, who gave us a complimentary plate of the best Greek yogurt with honey and cinnamon at the end of our meal. It's always like this in Greece, everyone is so warm and welcoming.
BOOKING MACHU PICCHU | PERÚ | CUSCO
Like the salt flats you have many options. The most popular routes amongst the backpackers we met are:
- Inca Trail Aprox $650 USD (most book prior)
- Salkantay trek Aprox $150 USD
- Jungle trek Aprox $140 USD
- Train one way to Machu Picchu (not including 2 hour bus) $70 USD
The duration of the treks vary but that’s down to your preference and budget. I don’t want to get bogged down over the exact info of all the above tours because we don’t know for sure as it totally depends on so many factors. 🤯💰 One thing we would say, apart from the the Inca trail which must be booked in advance. BOOK ALL TOURS WHEN YOU ARRIVE IN CUSCO TO SAVE MONEY. Do a little research or speak to other backpackers and figure out which route is best for you, then go to the travel agents in Cusco and find the best price.
We did do Machu Picchu ourselves and have some great information on the Jungle Trek. We are keen to share as much info on this as possible so we are going to split our 3 day 2 night experience over the following posts.

We love to visit new cities, but we also love to run away from the crowds and visit quieter places. After 2 days in Athens we decided to spend the last days in an island. Aegina Island was the chosen destination, and we couldn't have chosen better! 2 days relaxing, exploring the little “villages” and interacting with the warm and friendly locals 😊
Aegina is a small island but with beautiful places to visit. My favourite was this amazing church!
Have you ever visited this Island?

Bei diesen Temperaturen ist eine Abkühlung am Pool genau das Richtige, oder?🤔😁 Danke Marie für das tolle Foto und wir wünschen dir noch ganz viel Spaß in ... #travelsafe#Youngandtravel

🇬🇧"To buy a guide or not to buy?" That is the travelers' question.
Wednesday means new post on blog! YAY!!! I know, the past two weeks someone didn't manage to write while eating in Georgia, but this person will try to compensate with more articles this week and the following one. ¬
Today I launch a new section on the blog where I'll write all my personal reviews about not places but things, that every traveler uses or needs.
Let's start with this Lonlely Planet City Guide, that literally saved my trip to Paris last year! ¬
[In the blog post (link in bio) I'm asking you which relationship do you have with travel guides. Do you always buy one? Do you rather search on internet? Do you collect them? Let me now here, on Facebook or commenting the post, I'm very curious🤗]
🇮🇹"Comprare una guida o non comprarla?" Questo è il problema dei viaggiatori.
Mercoledì significa un nuovo post sul blog. EVVIVA!!!
A trip to Scotland would feel incomplete without seeing these Highland animals. Fortunately, just a 20-minute drive from Edinburgh, you can find an abundance of wonderful wildlife amongst the rolling hills that overlook the city. These remarkable animals are usually spotted at the very top of the hills - but the crisp hillside breeze, bright blue winters’ sky, golden sun and the panoramic views of Edinburgh, shaped an enjoyable hike.
We caught a glimpse of movement in the distance and delighted, we eagerly ran to the top of the hill where not only one, but over twenty highland cows were standing; completely unaffected by our agitated, out-of-breath presence. As the sun started to set, pastel colours painted the sky - yellows, oranges, pinks - unifying the most beautiful setting with the sense of achievement of having hiked for over an hour. As I took a couple of photos, we stood there in the moment observing the varying tones in the sky over the beautiful, distant city of Edinburgh. And, we stayed for a while... soaking up the views. ☺️💙🌿
(By far the longest caption I have ever written but wanted to try something different & tell a story) 💛
