Eventually it’s not the photographer that makes the picture, but the person being photographed. This girl tells her own story, the story of living on railway tracks in Yangon, but also the story of being proud of who she is and posing with delight. We met so many of these wonderful individuals in Myanmar and I think the essence of travelling is to listen to these stories.
