Mews/Конюшни 🐎 👇
🇬🇧 London has many hidden gems and one of them are mews! This term describes usually a back street where formerly a row of stables with carriage houses below and living quarters above in the 17th and 18th centuries. ⠀
Now most mews stables have been converted into cute dwellings with similar characteristics to the historic type. Even actor Michael Caine and singer Madonna own one of these petite properties.
Do you like this type of properties? 😉
Getting in to the Halloween spirit with this here “slime lake” 😂☠️ 🤮 Definitely going to find time this week to do a little walk about to see some of the Halloween decorations. Plus, I better get cracking on my own house!!
Urgh London is the best. Great pic.

#PoetryMonday In 2013 I went to Egypt and I met the most eloquent contemporary Egyptian colloquial poetess, Kawthar Mustafa. She is a very private person and doesn’t like attention or the media, cameras or the lights. But, she had something to say to me about Arab women. I shall keep it to myself, but I can share with you this poem song she wrote for the Nubian Egyptian singer Mohamad Mounir about...girls in our countries which reflects the sentiment many of you ladies feel, sometimes, about your safety, your voice, and your significance.
In my country girls, all the girls
Even as they walk, they look at their watches
So that they hurry home, before the doors are locked
Before the night falls over the neighbourhoods
In my country, the girls, rush off to their homes
In my country, the girls, all the girls
Dream of shining bright like the stars
Dream of hovering high like the fluttering flags
But sometimes the tick tock of the clock
Sometimes it suffocates
In my country, the girls, all the girls
Shall I share with you some of the photos I took in Egypt in the story? found a photo with the poetess in my archives too lmk below ↓ ;) 📸 @crrimes ....

Storm clouds gather over London's south bank. This shot was taken from the top of the Monument erected to mark the Great Fire of London. It is 202 feet (61 meters) tall and 202 feet from the supposed start of the fire in Pudding Lane.
Good evening ppl! Another #puddlegram just to be ready for the cold weather which is coming this week! I hope you have seen the forecast.. If not do not look at it as next weekend we are going to have single digit temperatures 🙁

When I arrived in London, I realized that most of the «saved» apartments were already rented😧
Obviously, September was the peak season🤷🏻♀️
“You should have come earlier,” you will say.
And I will answer: “All the questions to the visa center, please” 😂
In general, instead of a few days it took almost a month to find a flat. I viewed everything from studios to a flat share. But nothing was working out properly. Some apartments was twice smaller they were in the photo, or the area was not nice, or it was too messy in a flat share.
I had to refuse from on of the flats, for example, because my mom, whom I sent everything to check, didn’t like there were no shelves in the bathroom, and I had nowhere to put all my cosmetics. I was dead😂
And another time the agent just didn’t come to the appointment. After 30 minutes of waiting, I decided to check the studio by myself. Some guy opened the door and was surprised that someone wanted to rent the flat he supposed to live in at least for the next year. And yes, it was not even a studio.
I was desperate, and I thought I was ready for anything. But every time I said that I would go to the first flat share, my mother reminded me my unsuccessful experience in Israel, and said that in a month she was not going to listen anything about “terrible muddy neighbors”🤦🏻♀️😅 After 3 weeks, on a beautiful sunny day, I found the perfect studio in the nicest area. So, you understand — it was love at first sight😍
I immediately said that I was gonna rent it.
But it couldn’t be so smooth, of course. The the next morning, the agent wrote the landlord gave this lovely studio to his friend. I was really upset.
But in several minutes agent gave me another message with even better offer😏

A nice warm coffee like this from the weekend would go down a treat right now! How cold is it this morning?! ❄️ I stupidly left the house with half wet hair this morning, I think that’s just a summer thing to do ❄️☃️
" CHIMPING " #annieliebovitz @annie__leibovitz checking her photograph ( three images - Photographic Techniques, Part 2 of a series). This technique in digital photography is known as chimping. The term 'chimping' was first written about by Robert Deutsch, a USA Today staff photographer, in September 1999 when writing a story for the SportsShooter email newsletter. He did not invent the term but heard it passed down by word of mouth.
The term derives from the habit of the photographer looking at the picture in the LCD, and going "Ooh, ooh, ooh!" imitating the sound of a chimpanzee.
