I am so excited about this! I have been wanting to find some kind of co-op for produce from local farmers for some time. This last week we received a recommendation to check out a local community center (Tomball Renewal Center) that offers programs for contemplative practice, recovery, life-skills, etc. And guess what else they have there? A produce co-op!!! Both are miracle discoveries for me - all in one location!
I have wanted to eat locally grown food, because it makes sense to me on so many levels, but I had an aha moment yesterday. Brian and I peeled an orange from the box, and I was overcome by it’s delicious sweetness. All the fruit in our box, picked from a tree yesterday, was citrus fruit - grapefruit and various oranges. I realized that during the winter when our immune systems may be more compromised is when our bodies need more vitamin C! God/Love/Nature is brilliant and takes good care of us!

Another day, another distillery - this time the @isleofskyedistillers who were awesome enough to let @delphithepom join in and help @markstormont distill his first gin.
To have the class run by Alistair Wilson himself was amazing- he was super lovely, knowledgeable and (very patiently) was nice enough to listen to me while I wittered on about trying to make my own gin.
Time is the most precious commodity and I'm so grateful to people like him who are willing to give some of their own to help others progress towards their own goals - regardless of whether I reach mine!
