Happy first day of fall. Even though there is that decorative white stuff about I am diving into some local products to celebrate fall today. So pouring my bottle of @eauclairecraft #whisky and pairing it to the S'moramel Pie from @jacekchocolate @southislandpie

I have wonderful friends. They are always so, but particularly over the past couple of weeks. We've shared tears, laughter and, most importantly, beautiful food. Like this creme doughnut @k_skaggs and I had at @bandofbohemia last Saturday. The filling is enriched with beer and that chocolate glaze (with edible glitter!) had the right sharpness to cut through it. I mean, how can one not smile after that?
