Learning to stay in your lane and put your own blinders on is key. 🙋🏽♀️Hard work and discipline .
What you focus on does expand .
Managing where you focus your attention is the key to pretty much making it possible . So many distractions these days and so many expectations from society to be a certain way!
You do you . You’re under no obligation to be or act a certain way . The goal is to constantly grow and exceed reaching your own potential.
Don’t overcomplicate .
Stay focused 🔆
Parents - players need to know you care before they care what you know.
One of the things I got from my father was a steady balanced dose of love and discipline.
You need both. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know but that's the thing, right... We give ourselves way too much credit to remember what we're taught.
We need a way to remind ourselves in order to stay effective as parents, coaches, and as ballplayers. It's about repetition.
Players - If you're in travel ball or high-school and you plan on playing in college, you have another 5-10 years of baseball to play.
Trust me, that 0-4 you had this past weekend won't be a big deal a year from now, let alone five years from now. Keep perspective and focus on getting better instead of putting up numbers.
New game, new pitcher, new chance to be a hero.
Coaches - Remember your job is not to coach future big leaguers but to make men out of boys. Most players don't react well to coach Johnny Testosterone. Coach great competitors.
Parents - Build your kid up. This game will break them down enough. My gut tells me that when you become the MOST positive force in their lives, this gives them a chance to play with a little more calmness, toughness and focus which leads to "funness." #LOB#stayreadysoyoudonthavetogetready#baseballlife#baseballpractice#baseballmom#baseballdad
Lets get wavy🌊 A little video tutorial on how i achieve my beach waves at home on myself! Perfect, easy look for the holidays! Swipe to see the finished look!! ->
Step by step instructions below ⬇️
▪️I start by heating up by @babylissprousa 1 1/4 curling iron, then spray @love_kevin_murphy shine spray in my hair, after applying a heat protectant of course which is 🔑 ▪️I then go in and take sections that are about a half inch to an inch depending on the density and length of the hair! I always take the first two or three sections on each side and curl them away from the face, and then you could either alternate or continue to go away from the face. ▪️🔑: Leave out your ends to give it that beach, loose wave instead of a curl! ▪️Then i let each side cool and then brush them out with my fingers. This is where your individuality comes into play, pull them out a lot or just a little depending on your unique style! ▪️Feel free to ask any questions or comment down below if you like little tutorials like this one 😊
