“I love challenges”, said very few humans in the world. But this inspiration is enabling me to embrace them as the gifts that they are. The knee jerk response to difficulty has been to assume some sort of incapability on my part and I imagine this is true for many. Which is why I believe the lesson from our difficulties is a call to become keenly aware of our interpretation about ourselves in those situations. That’s precisely what I believe that our challenges are there to reveal to us, the naked face of the “I can’t (insert chosen limitation)” belief that’s been preventing us from nurturing the capacity to fully succeed in our desired experience. I recently accepted that my initial constricted response to certain challenges reveal the limiting soundtrack that was already quietly playing in my mind. One that I couldn’t hear as loudly when I was perusing in the comfort zone of what I deemed myself as already being good at.
The responses, which are evoked by our challenges are subtle teachers informing us that it is not our distressing circumstances that are holding us back but our own hidden conditioned beliefs about our capacities. Beliefs which must be healed to create our desired experience in life.
Bringing me to the second reason that obstacles become medicine of healing; because overcoming such feats becomes the means to transcending our limiting belief. Our challenges are perfectly matched scenarios for our healing. Healing cultivates the willingness to foster the very capacity that we feared lacking. Thus, we must cease being at odds with our challenges in order to fully understand the nature of the thing that we must transform. May we allow our challenges to speak the full truth of the beliefs we have been harboring without interrupting its wisdom with judgment. Thank these circumstances for their candidness and commit to taking small consistent actions that disrupt our limiting beliefs. Our ability to walk is already proof that everything is figureoutable ❤️
This is the ultimate goal. Bringing our consciousness to the forefront of our lives and in turn reprogramming our subconscious to work for the good of us instead of against us.
The subconscious mind is so powerful but we can only begin to reprogram it by being present.. by becoming aware. Like anything it is an acquired skill & all skills takes practice #practicemakesperfect#consciousliving#vibratehigher#BTWR ✨🌓
I have learned over time that it is all in me to love myself and not just from others. If we just take the time out for ourselves we can see a huge shift on how we look and view ourselves. We are all worthy of love but it all starts with how much love we give ourselves. 🤗😍💖

Because of them, I get to live my dream life. Being a stay at home, work at home mom, who occasionally slips away to the gym & grocery store ridin’ solo🚙 😆
My next goal is this: Retire said incredible husband, and give HIM the freedom to pursue his dreams & adventures🏔 And the way to do this? Is by helping other families/ parents stay home with their babies, building their life from HOME, for themselves & their families ~ He deserves that, YOU deserve that, and SO much more!💋💋
Finally getting into pumpkin season with some pumpkin chili! 🎃 Modified slightly from the @thugkitchen recipe, with garden salsa hot peppers, poblanos, and bell peppers from my garden (they're still producing!!) 🌶
----- Recipe -----
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 can black beans
- 1 onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 carrot - 1 hot pepper like jalapeño
- 3 cloves garlic - 1 tablespoon tamari
- 2 1/2 tablespoon mild chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 15oz can of diced tomatoes
- 1 ½ cups of pureed pumpkin
- 2 cups of vegetable broth or water
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Sautée veggies, then add rest of ingredients and simmer for 15 mins 🍛 I suggest serving it with brown rice!

Be who you want to attract. LITERALLY. If you want to attract the best version of yourself, whatever/whoever that is for you, you MUST act as if you are already her. Many of us were taught this backwards concept of this and that must happen before you become who you want to become in the future. The trick is to act as if you are already HER. Act as if. Take inspired action. These actions don’t have to be huge steps. It could be as simple as envisioning yourself as her. How would she feel, look, dress, etc. Think from her perspective. How would she approach situations? When you start to act as if you are HER, you will attract everything you want in your life and more. “Be who you want to attract.” Now that’s the real law of attraction 😉.
