🖤 LOVE MY HOME JUNGLE 🖤
I would like to show you my plants. They are grown so well in my kitchen. Look at these beautiful leaves 😍. Getting bigger and bigger!
Everything grows with love.
Golden pothos, peace lily, spider plant, dracena, ficus.
It looks like a green wall, doesn’t it?
🖤 4. I love...
to grow up my home Afro jungle. 🌱🌸.
💬 Home is where the plants are. Do you agree with it?

Serpentine Pavillion by @fridaescobedo. Having visited Mexico for the first time in March, I was not surprised by this year’s pavilion which represents a country whose architecture is still fundamentally connected to human experience through craftsmanship materials, and the passage of time. I was delighted by the way people are framed in the pavilion, reminiscent of being in a woodland, and you can easily imagine passing time amongst the familiar concrete tiles.
This plant came with two very damaged leaves (the two on the outside). On the left you can see one of the big scars. After I repotted it in more airy soil, I saw very few roots. But I just kept watering it for a few weeks and someday it just started growing again! The two leaves in the middle are completely new grown leaves 🌱
My first #philodendronmicans for #plantshelfiesunday 💚 The velvety leaves are unreal and photos don’t do justice to this beauty. The lighting is already bad against this shelf but I swear it looks more beautiful in person, and I love stroking the leaves too. That’s why when I saw a huge basket, I did not hesitate to get it. They grow fast too 💚🌿 Do you love velvety leaves too?
At the Instagram plant meetup in the Netherlands this spring I saw a gorgeous black begonia at @wildernisamsterdam that I wanted but was too large. The lovely @myplantloves remembered and sent me this almost black Begonia ‚Black Fang‘ a few weeks ago! Thank you so much Efi 😊
Speaking of which - we have another meetup planned, this time in London on November 10th! Nothing is set in stone yet, we will announce the date and location soon 🤗
I was considering writing a guide to houseplants until @coupdegracefarris wrote the only guide you will ever need. Happy #ikeapalmsunday ! We’re creating another plant day folks, time to get out your sweedish meatballs 😆
A better shot of my ivy. The colors in the leaves are so stunning! I cannot get enough of them. I love this plant so much. 😍 ((Care for ivy: full sun to partial shade — water when top 1” of soil is dry — ‼️ Ivy is TOXIC to cats, dogs, and horses!! ‼️))
Don’t live your life in the “what if I had...” moments. You can’t hangs the past, but you can change the future. ((“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending” -C. S. Lewis))

My gorgeous Mint Kolibri Ivy (Hedera helix). I felt like I needed some ivy since that’s my middle name... ((Care for ivy: full sun to partial shade — water when top 1” of soil is dry — ‼️ Ivy is TOXIC to cats, dogs, and horses!! ‼️))
