“Set sails to the distant lands so our mind can gain more wisdoms and our ears can learn how to truly listen.” -A. Utami
If you follow my account for quite some time, you know that I’ve been away for awhile. Traveling to see my family, and also to see different corners of the world.
I am not one to hide where I am. I like to share with everyone I know about the places I visit. Mind you, it’s not to brag. Not to even humble-brag (I know some who do, but hey, to each their own). It’s never my intention to scream “hey look, I’m cool for going to these places.”
My intention is to let people—who are willing to listen and willing to open their heart—that this world is very vast, so that we realize that it’s okay to be different. Ultimately we can cultivate more tolerance towards those who don’t look and don’t speak like us.
There are civilizations older than our ancestors and cities built upon nameless graveyards. There are cuisines made of weirdest ingredients and utensils made of unassuming materials.
There are wonderful, weird, enchanting, amazing, frightening, colorful lives outside of our walls.
No matter how different we look from the outside, we are more alike than different.
Have a great day/night, good people. ❤️ Open your eyes and witness the diversity this life has offer. You are never alone in this world.
I woke up with mixed emotions.... I woke up fighting the onset of depression... I woke up with even more questions... I woke up washed my face then starred in the mirror... I woke up... I woke up... And Being with You Made It Better‼️💫

Cooling down on a boat tour of Vlychada, the biggest cave of the Diros complex. The beautiful and dramatic formations of stalactites and stalagmites, formed millions of years ago are truly worth a visit. More here:
