~ The physical body is the vehicle to travel through this life. ~
~ The physical body is the basic temple in which you can deposit the treasure of happiness in life. ~
Alles is energie, alles is één. Hoe we omgaan met de Body beïnvloed al het andere. So better take good care of it!
I have very much enjoyed reading Simple Matters by Erin Boyle @readtealeaves - and it has given me plenty of inspiration to continue to get to where I want to. My favourite part of the book were the quotes at the beginning of each chapter, which really encompass the way I feel I want to live.
Right now I’m working on my wardrobe. I’ve never been a follower of fashion and it’s never looked right on me either and always made me feel rubbish. I want to create a capsule wardrobe (which I’ve started with the remaining clothes items following a declutter and will add a few thoughtful and sustainable pieces to it including a new pair of shoes which I need!). My inspiration for this is a desire to be comfy in what I wear, to wear for me, and @sjdooley documentary Fashion’s Dirty Secrets - I was amazed that Indonesia’s Citarum river is polluted not just by plastic but runoff from the fashion industry, with no accountability or care at all. The very people that rely on the water of the Citarum to live are being poisoned by our thoughtless over consumption (which has also depleted a sea!). I could say so much more but for now - it’s time for change! #noplanetb#fastfashionkills#fastfashionsucks#nofastfashion#slowliving#slowwardrobe#capsulewardrobe#livewithintention#livewithintent
You know what day it is! 🎉 Tonight for #bloghour we’re covering a topic that gets everyone talking...the future of blogging.
Our opinion? BLOGGING IS THE FUTURE based on mankind’s insatiable need to read, learn and grow. A blogger has the most incredible tools at their fingertips: the tools to create interest, engagement and to influence the thoughts of others.
So join us at 9pm on Twitter for what’s sure to be an interesting chat and hit the link in our bio for the questions 🙌 Who will we see there?
Can I get really real with you? 😬🙊
I'm all about inspiring others to live consciously: with intention, focus, and passion. That's what lights me up inside and I want to shout it from the rooftops! 🔥😍
But what the f*ck is with the "conscious box" (of stereotypes) which tries to imprison me into being a climate-change fighting, social justice advocating, pussy-hat-wearing, man-hating, March for Women crusader? 🙄
I'm in no way, shape, or form ANY of the adjectives described in the above para (I actively campaign against many of the aforementioned social engineering strategies)... Soooo..... for the love of God, please don't throw me in that box.
I can think for myself, thank you. 🙌💖
This has been away for a long time. To long if you would ask my soul. The colours, the smell of freshly sharpened pencils, the silent creation, like meditation. This morning the beginning of a new poem popped up. And it came along with this sketch. 🌄
I read this in the morning and love it. Life is and can be really simple. We tend to overcomplicate it with our thinking primitive mind and overthinking (me too). However, with practise we can slow down and love more, live more gently and gracefully let go of things that we so strongly and deeply hold onto that only strengthen our ego. We then lose ourself in the identity we create to protect ourself instead of having the courage to be who we truly are. Pretending is exhausting and the freedom on the other side is far more rewarding.
Much love to you all.
Shout out to @novamitch for the picture.
Be your own hero💪
I can't tell you how much this has helped me and for anyone that is shy or even have social anxiety like me, this is the way to go. -
Personally, acting as Superquoteman is just me acting as myself when I'm at home or with my family by just being silly and crazy at the same time.😁
I should thank my dad, because he's definitely also a little crazy and very funny.🤓
Why couldn't I act as just myself? Well I believe society is molding us to become "adults" by ultimately saying we need to get rid of our inner child. -
There is a certain way we need act especially when working, we need to fall in line, etc.
I use to think like that and put the blame on others but in reality the choice on how we act has always been ours.
So to you, I say, take a moment and think about this question:
Are you acting the same way when you are with your closest friends, your loved ones or alone the same as when you are at work? Or are you putting a mask that shadows your inner child?
If you are wearing a mask, then START WEARING YOUR CAPE. 🤓💪
- Superquoteman wishes you a wonderful day of pure awesomeness! 🙃

“Change is inevitable, growth is optional.” I’ve decided to take a leave from working for a period of time, taking disability to focus on my health needs at a different pace.
My life is becoming more, and more a delicate balance - but right now it’s simply too much. After #opdivo treatments for #melanoma I had a rare side effect of autoimmune hepatitis. The hepatitis may or may not return after I complete a month of steroids...I have a nodule in my lung (too small to do anything about for now...), and have chronic fatigue from the treatments. Things that used to be easy are hard. Luckily, I got to see the sun my post-call day after a week of rain, and some one-on-one time with #mrmaxwell ... After exhausting overnight calls, that have been scheduled almost back to back, (weekends are 48 hours), I have decided to take a break to focus on my health needs and what I need to be doing professionally to be both fulfilled, and to make the most impactful difference in medicine after I regain strength and some support. This was a hard decision...until this weekends 48 hour call with very little sleep. #flashpulmonaryedema#dontletpeopletalkdowntoyou#dontletpeopletalkoveryou#beheard#speakwithintention#livewithintention#knowyourworth#alaskaphysicianassistant#streetmedicinealaska#notdeadyet#thisjobcouldkillme

“I’m going to do this thing confidently, and I’m not responsible for other people’s energy!” Listening to a new podcast today, and these two topics really hit home with me. Ready to tackle the day tomorrow! Who’s with ME?❤️
I made my first Fritata! Swipe right to see the beautiful pics!
My exact recipe:
1- Whisk or blend 6 eggs
2- Sautee zucchini and bellpepper in side pan
3- Pour eggs into non stick pans (with 🥑 or coconut oil) on medium low heat. Slower is better.
4- Throw sauteed veggies, fresh cilantro and diced cherry tomato into wet egg. Season with salt and lemon pepper.
5- Cook until mostly cooked and flippable.
6- Grab spatula and give it a flip. Pray.
7- Cook until totally firm, invert plate on top of pan, then flip again so Fritata is right side up on plate.
Enjoy! You can get creative and use whatever the heck you want in there. Fun additions would be cheese, spinach or mushrooms. .
Have you thought about quitting? To me, there’s a difference between letting go of something that is no longer good for you or simply not what you want in your life anymore...and quitting...that’s different. Quitting has to do with leaving something you wish you hadn’t, or aren’t sure that you can finish. It means walking away when something becomes challenging or scary...but usually something you really wanted. Quitting your new eating and workout plan that is taking time to “work”, quitting the new business endeavor that is taking you out of your comfort zone, or quitting a relationship when you start to feel vulnerable. .
.If it’s good for you, don’t quit.
Taking in the lady bit of sunlight at the desert in Dubai! Life is for seizing the money when you get the chance! At least these days I can say that I definitely say YES to the good things in life. Do you allow yourself to say yes to what life can offer you? We first must allow ourselves to receive. 😀💜🙏🏻
I love him most of the Time.
Let me tell you my days off from the hospital are amazing.
I’m able to work on my business, work on my RNFA studies, workout, go to breakfast with my honey.
But at a price - this little Rat - is still a puppy and still is a little “ish
For example, he ate a page of my RNFA boom, he ate a drawing my 12 year old did, he chewed on ANOTHER dining room chair, he barked at birds, he barked at the halloween decorations.
But I have to say this little brat is by far one of the best things we as a family have taken on.
It’s all hands on deck!
But it’s brought the 4 of us even closure together. We are a team - we are the Grays - DASH CARLOS GRAY 🐶
Can you relate?
Every now and then I see a corner, or a road, or a landscape that really inspires me.
Such as this random potted plant, slightly open window and overgrown vines. I see things like this and it can randomly give me the idea for a photo shoot, or color pallet, or theme of a collection.
Do you have any unconventional inspirations? Or a time when something random inspired you?
Did you know that Loneliness is now identified as one of the top national public health crises?
It’s an epidemic in that it has an affect on more people than you may realize.
Here’s some statistics:
• 1 in 4 Americans feel lonely.
• The average person in 2018
has 1.8 friends vs. 3.2 friends in 1990.
• 82% of individuals feel that they don’t have someone to truly communicate and confide in.
Loneliness is a common human emotion.
Keep in mind here that there is a notable distinction between being alone and being lonely.
You can be in a crowded room full of people you enjoy and still feel lonely.
Emotions are meant to be fleeting occurrences.
But when we experience this emotion for a prevailing amount of time,
There are some seriously silent and invisible health conditions.
Loneliness is commonly correlated with imbalances such as anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation.
Loneliness has been attributed to cardiovascular problems.
Loneliness increases your risk of clinical dementia by 64%.
I can tell you that the past 6 months, I’ve lived in a geographically isolated place. And then on top of that—having my partner frequently leaving for work— there would be days that I would go without talking, touching, or interacting with another human.
It was extremely difficult.
And dangerous I would say.
I could feel immediate declines in my mental, physical, and cognitive health.
I reached out to a dear friend and she said, you gotta make some changes.
Loneliness is a serious problem.
It’s why I so passionately value and advocate for community, authentic connection, time in nature, fulfilling hugs, and active as well as consistent support.
From friends and from services.
<< I have a coach. I have a wonderful doctor. I've had multiple therapists. >>
If I asked you,
“How often have you felt lonely within the past 6 months?”
What would your answer be…
Whatever the answer is, it is okay.
Sit with it, learn from it, let it go, take action.
YOU and only you alone are the one that is responsible for your emotional and energetic well-being.
You got this. It’ll be okay.
From my heart to yours,
This is one of the most difficult concepts to learn .. especially in two occasions:
✨✨a) when we are too young and too afraid to trust on what we know we might be, and as a result we comply and follow the beliefs of whoever is around us and we absorb whatever is the trend of the culture at that particular time.
✨✨2) and after years of adulthood when we are so identified with what we do for work, with our relationships and worldly acculturations .. we forget who we really are.
👉🏼👉🏼My guess, to become us again, is to go back to the basics, be silent, listen to others, love, cherish real connections, and, enjoy the moment.

What are you spending your time doing?
One of my favorite and at the same time least favorite reminders is that if I have time to sit on the couch and scroll through Facebook or Instagram, I have time to work out. Ugh. 😐 But it's so true!! If I'm making choices based on my values, it's clear which one I should spend my time doing. But man oh man, it's so much easier to sit on the couch and work out my thumb. 😜
It's so easy to feel busy all the time in today's world and many of us may, in reality, be very busy. But we have the ability and the responsibility to choose what we spend our time on. Do you find yourself saying and feeling that you don't have enough time for all the things you want to do? What goal have you been wanting to get started on when you have more time? .
Chances are, there won't ever be more time. But we can choose what we use our time for. And we can choose to use our time for things that we value - things that are important to us.
If you want to read more, stop watching so much tv. If you want to write a blog, plan 30 minutes of your day to work on that. If you want to work out, choose to do that instead of going out on a Friday night. Make it a priority. What things can you delegate or say no to in order to clear more time for the things that really matter to you?

"Being your true self, being your true nature, is different then experiencing it with thought. Realize that you are the mystery and that you can't really look at the mystery because you are only capable of looking from the mystery. There is a very awake and loving mystery, and that's what is seeing through your eyes at this moment. That's what is hearing through your ears.
Look at it in the most fundamental way. Look beyond your usual concern with solving problems. Looking at personal issues is like pulling just the top of the weeds out of your lawn: they pop right back up.
You may have some relief from the trouble of the day, but the root is still there totally untouched. Having experiences, even if they clear up problems or offer beautiful insights, is very different then finding the root of who you are. If you don't get to the root, you just get another weed." #love#life#mystery#discovery#root#weeds#selfdiscovery#growth#livewithintention#betrue#beyou#instagood#livewithpurpose#maha
As a child being outdoors was life. Family gatherings meant cousins wildly roaming the corn fields or heading to the creek. Playtime with my sisters equaled riding the pony to the far reaches of the pasture, biking countless loops around house, building tree forts and secret hideouts until it got too dark to see.⠀
There was no structure or purpose. We were simply exploring for exploration’s sake. Fresh air filling our lungs, we happily went into the unknown. ⠀
And now, as an adult, I find little has changed. Being outdoors is my happy place. The more time I have to wander into the woods, the happier my soul becomes. ⠀
And yet, it’s so easy to forget. To become focused on the shoulds, lost in the productive to-do lists.⠀
But as Edward Abby said, “Wilderness is not a luxury but necessity of the human spirit.” So the next time wildness calls, don’t forget to answer.⠀
Get outside. Head into the unknown for the simple sake of exploration. Your soul will thank you.
I know you're tired.
I know you're stressed.
You've got a lot on your plate and even more on your mind.
You think that just a little more work will help, but it just brings you farther and farther into the pit. ❤So I give you permission.❤ Write it on a piece of paper.
Put it on the table.
Drink a glass of water.
And go to bed.
God's there to help you with this stress and burden. But he can't take it if you don't give it to him.
You need to sleep.💤
Have a good night.😴
Be grateful for what you have while you continue to work hard for what you want.

"What is confidence? I've deconstructed confidence and I believe confidence is the successful repetition of any endeavor. That's when confidence comes.
When you know the next time you do it you're likely going to be successful. Most people that drive have car confidence. You don't start off having car confidence, you don't wait to have car confidence to start learning how to drive. You start learning how to drive and you’re terrified behind the wheel of this giant machine that could kill someone. Most people don't go and take their driver's test fully confident that they're going to ace it. They're nervous.
You develop car confidence after the successful repetition of driving and not killing someone or crashing." Debbie Millman

This time last year I was FREAKING OUT. 😬 I remember it so vividly because I couldn't exactly explain what the internal anxiety I was feeling was about. It was the week before I was attending the largest dietetics conference of the year (#FNCE ) for the 1st time. I had WAVES of anxiety and overwhelm. What should I expect? (everyone said craziness 🙃) What if I don't have anything to say? (when does that happen? 🙊) What if everything goes wrong? (when does EVERYTHING go wrong? )
Instead of embracing all the EXCITED feels before this new adventure, I immediately went for the negative. My anxiety from this experience stayed with me and I made a conscious decision to work on it... because we don't always have so much control over life and the unknown. .
Fast forward one year ⏩ and it's the week of FNCE 2018 and I only feel EXCITED! 💃🏻 I can't wait to reunite with colleagues and friends, meet new ones, and LEARN! 🤓
✨ Why am I sharing this? It's amazing what can happen in a year when you work on something. I feel so much more confident in myself, my business, and my abilities, and although I still have room to grow (hopefully I always will), I'm no longer held back by these anxious thoughts... they propel me forward! 🤸🏻♀️
No, every day isn't a walk in the park, but by putting one foot in front of the other, amazing things can happen in a year. 👣
I know I'm not the only one who has these insecurities, and YOU can make a transition too. Whether it's in your food choices, your body confidence, self-care, or putting yourself first, you can work on YOU... it's not selfish, it's essential to be confident in being YOU and all you have to offer! .
When was a time you really worked on YOURSELF?! Comment below 👇🏼 to share... Just some food for thought for a Monday... 😘😘😘

This gem spoken by @mdauph at @creativemornings_sd (in July) is everything. Life is all about perspective and we can choose to dwell on the negative or focus on the positive. —Photos and talk on the blog.
I've been working hard this month to improve my habits and get more productive when I'm working. I'm focused on getting more done without working more hours and it's really forced me to pay attention to the ways I totally waste time.
One thing I've started doing is giving myself a set amount of time to finish a task. Instead of telling myself I'll finish something by Wednesday, I schedule one hour on Monday, for example, to finish that task and then it has to be done. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it does have to be done.
It's working pretty well so far!
This method has seriously helped me catch myself before I get distracted. For real, when you give yourself a fixed, specific amount of time to finish something, there's no time to pause and respond to emails or scroll on Instagram "for just a minute." You just get the damn thing done. It's also helped me let go of some of my perfectionist tendencies... they're still there, but I swear they're just a little more flexible 😉
I've been doing this for about a week and it's definitely made a difference. I've even finished a couple things I'd been putting off day after day! Nothing like crossing out and writing the same effing task at the end of every day, am I right? 🤷
I'm always looking for new things to try to increase my productivity and/or save me some time, so I'm dying to know—how do you get shit done?
When you’re trying to get shit done but you have kids... 😂

What does freedom look like?
I attended my friend's financial class and this was her opener. To me, it looks like not having to check my bank account all day to make sure I'm overdrafting. It looks like being able to buy groceries and and bills in the same week with having an anxiety attack. It looks like buying my dream house and dream car. It looks like being able to work WHEN I want and how I want and seeing the world with the hubs. Then to have my income be a direct reflection of the people I'm helping. Yea....that's what freedom looks like.
So why not me? Why not YOU?
I guess you could say my bachelorette party this weekend was not typical, but it was perfectly “me” and my friends couldn’t have done a better job with all the planning. It even remained a surprise until I arrived (which was tough for the me, who loves being in control 😂 ). •
We stayed at a beautiful @airbnb, sipped wine and cider at @warwickvalleywinerydistillery, enjoyed a 4 course gluten and dairy free meal cooked by a private chef, stayed up late laughing and playing games in our PJs, and had Sunday brunch and picked flowers at @bloominghillfarm. •
It was the perfect weekend full of good food, wine, sunshine, and laughter. A much needed reminder to slow down, be present, and focus on all the good in my life, including this special group of women I am so grateful for. •
Your habits greatly determine your health, but your overall wellness also depends on the people you spend your time with ❤️.
Being an influencer is super trendy right now, for any area really: fitness, lifestyle, fashion.... And I mean, why not?! My first thought is SIGN ME UP! The life of an influencer looks charmed, beautiful. But then, after I really think about it, I'm like NOPE. That life is HARD WORK. The clothes, that coordinate with perfectly staged backgrounds, the filters... I dont think I could handle the pressure, the need to keep up or for everything to be perfect would completely consume my life. I give major props to those girls grinding, they are working magic.✨
But then, when I REALLY stop and think about it... I AM an influencer. Maybe not one with a K and M after the number. Heck, I don't even have a COMMA.😬 And let's be real. With such a small presence, who can I really impact?? Well. I can impact the 148 following me or the 776 friends on FB. .
I can also influence the ppl at my work, or at the grocery store, or the person in the car I let slide into traffic.
Your realm of influence is not isolated to your "reach" on social media and it is not confined to the ppl you know IRL. So regardless if you are an "official influencer" - look at your realms: family, friends, coworkers, children, the people you encounter during errands, the girl lifting weights next to you at the gym. Ask yourself, "How can I influence this person for their betterment, their gain? How can I show this person Christ's kindness, his grace?"
Your influence may reach farther than you know- maybe they'll tell you or comment or like. Or maybe, they'll watch you, silently. And maybe in that silence, you will speak truth into their hearts and minds, you will give them hope and encourage them to live life boldly and with gratitude, earnestly and with grace.
So never stop. No matter how many likes you get or how much "engagement" you generate.
You were made to have an influence.
You were made for more. 💕
so in love, but oh so exhausted, barely sleeping, barely eating, constantly nursing and bouncing on an exercise ball allll day cuz it’s the only way to get Quinn to sleep.... for 30 min 😂😳 #newmomlife
I had to find something that filled my cup, something for me, so I could better take care of my family. I realized I needed to Take care of myself first.
It may seem hard to find the time amongst your chaos. With all your housework, all your dishes, all the kids, all the to dos. But it’s SO important to make time for YOU. Because I’ve found that when I feel good, happy and healthy...I am that much better for everyone who needs me most 👨👩👧
So if that’s you....constantly tired, 😴no energy, depleted and you know that your waiting for SOMETHING to change...Well, THIS was it for me! 😍And it may very well be what’s “it” for you too. The only way you’ll know is if you give it a try! You have nothing to lose and SO MUCH to gain!
I’m starting a new workout/nutrition program on MONDAY that’s going to SHIFT our minds, the way we think about ourselves, and shift our bodies into feeling the BEST we’ve ever felt. This may be EXACTLY what you need! A physical & mental Shift💕 I know I do.
Want to join me?
