Karachi Street Food Festival 18'
Karachites loves one thing the most and you all can guess that too, Yes; It’s “Food”. No other place you would find in K-Town except the plethora of eateries and they cater all class of the city so that everyone can enjoy the flavor! I also agree with this quote of Julia Child; “People who love to eat are always the best people” & I also don’t like to miss any chance where I can have the variety of food under one roof. So yea how could I miss it? It will be happening from 16th till 18th November 2018’
It was quite satisfying that the security and traffic measures were taken seriously into account. Colossal number of volunteers/organizers were assigned to manage the event that’s why they were making sure that the traffic doesn’t block the road and none of the uncertainty would be appeared at the event! I also won’t deny the fact the overall gentry was decent which is one of the major concerns for girls especially. One of the best parts of this event is the price of the ticket Rs.200/- with the concert is just nothing along with the fact that the name of the event justified the prices of the eateries too! There are mainly “Home Based”and “Pocket Friendly“ stalls, which an average Karachite could manage to spend an evening with family without feeling burdened!
The best time to visit is after 6 o clock because Karachi’s weather becomes friendly and it is important because eating in an open air in sunlight wouldn’t be a better idea and off course the concert which starts late, and nobody would like to get drained before it. Am I right or wrong?
I was very excited to explore the eateries so I made a round first as to check and decide what I will be eating lol, so for appetizer I took “Pani Pori” , it was exactly like the traditional one and I love that. It was for Rs 100/- I am a huge “Khausay”lover so I opted for T n A Foods and it was of Chicken , the coconut curry and noodles were good! It costed me for Rs 180/- and then “Limca”because the chicken was kind of spicy for me and I also like Limca over soft drink it refreshes me! Rs 100/-
Overall; I had a good experience and if you’re a foodie you should not be missing it!
