”Mother Island” or Mae Koh Island in Thailandese. It was one island of the islands within Ang Thong National Park that we liked to explore. This island also known as “the island with the lake”. It took some efforts to go down and up the steel and wooden steps of ridge around the island. Yes, we hassled a bit to enjoy this beauty of the nature.

Have you read my book yet? .
If you’re new around here, hi 👋🏼 I’m Ebonie, I’m an award winning coach, podcaster and author. I run a successful coaching company, I work with clients I love, and life is good! BUT.... it wasn’t always this way. I didn’t arrive here overnight.
Whilst my journey isn’t over, and I have many more twists and turns, and adventures to take, I know that when you’re starting out you can find yourself believing that everyone had it easy. (More often than not, it’s really not the case st all.)
In my book Misfit to Maven I share my journey, with all the drugs, sex and eating disorders so that you can see that you’re not alone. Whilst you might feel like a misfit, we have more in common than you might think.
The book then also contains a workbook full of practical tips and exercises you can work your way through, to gain clarity, confidence, courage and calm... and find your way back to your true (extraordinary) self!
“This is a brilliant book.
Ebonie's writing is clear and accessible. Amazingly for a 'self-help' book, it's a real page turner too! This is totally down to the tone of the author's voice, which makes you feel like you're sitting down with an old friend who's decided to put everything on the table...and then share some of the awesome teachings she's studied for years from myriad experts; has processed to form her own unique interpretation and then created a template for implementing all of that wisdom. I loved that you have Ebonie's story first, which really makes you trust her, and then the practical workbook in the second half. This is the kind of book you want to lend to your friends...and then make sure they give it back to you so you have it on your shelf for reference!”

In honour of Thanksgiving tomorrow, I’m sharing some of the things I’m grateful for in my life today on the blog. Above all, I’m grateful for this man and his love. (And his silliness. And his cooking. And his passion. And his hugs. And his leadership. And his love of movies. And everything else about him.)
If you still can't land clients and your doing all the things then it's because of either your mindset or selling. .
You think it's because it's your offer... It's not .
You think it might be your marketing.... It's not .
You think it's because your following isn't big enough... It's not. .
I know how frustrating it can feel. .
I've been there! .
I was doing everything I was told to do and still couldn't just get at least 1 paying client. .
I was investing on courses and coaches to become a better marketer. .
I spent thousands on manifestation courses, thinking hey I will just manifest clients 🤦♀️ .
I eventually put it down to there are just more successful, well known coaches offering the same thing so why would someone choose me over them? . (Side note) That was a total lie I was telling myself. .
What I realized was the first problem was my mindset. Everything I just mentioned were all mindset issues and are just lies I told myself and you are too. . (Side note) what you and me have to offer is not unique. What anyone is selling is not unique. I'm unique, my personality and story is unique. .
Anyways the other reason why I wasn't landing clients even though I was doing all the things for over year was because I wasn't selling. .
Or I was selling in a way I would ever motivate someone to trust me enough to buy from me. .
So before you think you need a better offer, a better marketing strategy or a bigger audience just stop and ask yourself what do you gain from staying right where you are now? .
What thoughts have you been telling yourself that's keeping clients away? .
How is your selling? When you share the transformation you have to offer are you motivating someone to take action? .
People want to buy from you, they just have no idea what you have to offer and how to sign up

Day 3 - Genuinely my favourite part - Ok so today's prompt is 'Spread the love: fave makers/indie shops etc' Initially I was just going to tag some awesome people and continue with my day but I think this is such a fucking important thing to do that I'm going to try and make a sort of Indie gift guide. I appreciate that it can be hard finding decent original gifts and that buying from people or companies you haven't heard of, especially on the Internet can be quite daunting but I promise that these guys are the absolute dogs bollocks. I will post them to my stories and then make it a highlight on my page, adding to it as the month goes along so you can check it for gift ideas. It will consist of things like: 'gifts for the small biz owner', 'colour-holics', 'swearaholics' and 'things I wish I had' etc. Any suggestions are more than welcome, Happy Shopping! PS. Yes I will be shamelessly dropping one or two of my products in there 🙈 YW 😂👌🏼

Love this post by @mikecampbellmc 🙌🏼 For the majority of us, life is spent playing the waiting game; the “woulda, coulda, shoulda” game, the “maybe someday” game.
We’re always waiting for the elusive “right” moment, right person, right “sign”, environment or circumstance to come by. We’re waiting for the magical idealistic unicorn feeling of, “OK! Now I’m ready!”
Guess what? More likely than not, that day is never going to come! Consider that you are NEVER going to feel 100% ready, and it’s NEVER going to be the right time.
The thing is, this instinct to wait and hesitate is perfectly normal! It’s IN human nature to have a healthy amount of skepticism. It is IN our evolutionary biology to be fearful of the unknown - it’s how we’ve “survived”.
Fears and bullshit aside, let’s get to the bottom of what’s ACTUALLY in your way. Often what’s really holding you back aren’t those “fears” you’ve listed, but the ugly, uncomfortable, irrational truths underneath the fear that nobody wants to admit - not even to themselves.
Maybe it’s those poor habits you know you have around procrastination and work ethic. Maybe you subconsciously don’t think you’re good enough, smart enough, talented enough. Maybe you’re scared shitless of failing in front of others. Maybe you don’t actually believe YOU are capable of getting the money you need, managing a team, being successful.
Our fears are often simply MASKS for what the real issue(s) are. And our brains do a fantastic job at crafting these perfectly formed excuses that keep you from being at mental, emotional or physical “risk”.
Regardless of what those underlying truths are, your fears are never going to go away. They’re going to be there, whether you go after your dreams or not. So you might as well start, and learn to grapple with them as you go along.
As Mike says, “You start, and in the process you become who you CAN become. Not before, but in the process.” ✨ #LetsGetFrank

⋆ A gift that supports social justice ⋆
As a mum it is so important I teach my children about social justice and about those less fortunate than themselves. CAREgifts are a wonderful way to do just that and available online. The limited edition range of cards which have been designed by young feminist illustrators was an added bonus. .

@justacard is a campaign to promote the importance of shopping independent, it's about celebrating the individuality of a maker whilst doing your bit to support your community by shopping local. I'm not going to say never shop mainstream or that you should only buy from small businesses but the more you can buy from makers and small shops the more you're making some ones dreams become a reality. It doesn't sound like a big deal but I promise you it really is, Christmas may only come once a year but every time you purchase from an independent it feels like Christmas to us. Making Foggish a success means the world to me and I try to give it everything I have so each time someone buys a card or shares my work I am beyond grateful. When a customer buys from me I believe it's because they love my product, they want to buy from me because it appeals to them more than what they see in the shops and yeah maybe because they know how much more personable it is to shop from an individual instead of a chain. Local to me is no longer just the shop down the road, it's the communities I've become a part of online, the makers I've turned to for advice and the successful businesses who inspire me to keep going. These are the people who reply to your comments, who stay up late packing your orders because they know how badly you want the card to arrive in time and who send you a little something extra because they appreciate how important your custom is to them. It's the personal handcrafted touch in a world filled with auto replies and self service machines. I genuinely believe that passionate Indie shops are what give our town and cities a sense of community and individuality, they're the ones who remember your favourite meal, how you take your coffee in the morning and when it's your Nanna's birthday. They look after people in the community and are often the first to rally for a good cause. Every time you buy from from a small biz you don't just give a nod to that persons hard work but you're also giving back to the community, even if all you can afford is just a card 💌
When you choose who you team up with, start from values and principles. If you can give up your masks and know each other in your vulnerability than you can build a business based on authenticity and real care. And than real FUN is happening not fake smiles.
At the end of this week together with a part of my amazing team we organize the Winter Bootcamp and Leadership Weekend for coaches in top 3 Fitclubs and Nutrition Clubs in my team from Romania.
With them next to me I know we are just starting what we are calling The #wellbeingrevolution ✨
Our vision is to help people around the world to discover their true potential through Nutrition, Sports & Yoga, Coaching, and Entrepreneurship.
Once you FEEL GOOD, you can DO GOOD.
That is why most people in my team first worked on themselves and after they felt good wanted to do good to others and they became coaches.
Are you ready for a change? Let's start.

I didn’t hold a photo camera in my hands until I was in my teens. And I fell in love with that passion instantly. I was working in a photo shop that summer, and with my first pay I bought a camera and a Walkman. I got free access to films so each weekend I would snap and snap until I have to develop the photos on Monday. I miss those days sometimes but not the smell of the acid for developing the rolls.
My daughter was two days pass turning six years old last year when she captured this photo for me. She has been holding the camera since she was just under two years old.
Go after your passions, you never know where it will lead you.
BOSTON | years ago, when my hair was short, red and carelessly tossed into the wind... I went to explore Boston.
I immediately fell in love with the salt in the air. The walkabout sandwiches. The chowder by the harbor.. and the friendly accents of people who live there.
I giggled out loud after trying to repeat words like "parked and car" like a true Bostonite (it sounds more like "pahck" than park).. beats me how they say it. But it sure is beautiful.
I realized recently that I was someone else entirely then.
Fierce. Carefree. Struggling mentally & emotionally. Yet Strong. I loved more easily. Made friends more readily. Frankly I didn't give a shot what people thought about me.
Maybe most of those things are still true today... I just have to dig a little deeper and let that simply-me-ness light out.
What are the moments that inspire you to be more carefree?
Oh today. I did not wake up motivated AF. My stomach didn’t feel so hot. I made some tea and had a tasty breakfast 🍳
Then it came down to workout time and I just wasn’t feeling it. I know that the days I don’t want to show up, but do anyway, are the most important days. I’m not breaking a promise to myself. And I started and stopped probs 5 different workouts until I landed on an active recovery Core De Force workout 🦵 🤜
I do not have a great attitude during the winter months. It’s cold and nasty and I crave sunshine. I think this is actually the first time in 6 years I’m going into the winter months ready for it.
There are 45 days left in this year. We have 43 of those days (not counting Thanksgiving and Christmas because we love all the food!) to recalibrate and go into 2019 feeling amazing. We don’t need resolutions to make the changes we’d love to see.
Community behind you. Decide. Commit. Succeed.
I got yo back
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’m feeling such gratitude for this cozy studio space at @horseandbuggypress which has has satisfied my introverted cocooning cravings this season. I broke out the twinkle lights tonight to illuminate this healing space that serves as a womb for my creative desires. ✨🌸 ✨
What spaces are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? Do you make it a point during the holidays to carve out time for yourself? For those of you who are struggling this holiday season, please be gentle with yourselves. Go straight to your favorite physical spaces and engage in grounding activities. Whether it’s walking by a stream 👣 sleeping in an extra hour in your own bedroom 🛏 or soaking in the bathtub at your mother-in-law’s house 🛀, remember to love yourself in and through all the hard emotions that the holidays can trigger. Just like the season, this too will pass. 💜
What spaces, individuals, or activities are you thankful for this week? How do they enrich your life? 🙏
