“But what if I fail? ⠀
What if I’m so afraid of messing up that I don’t even start.”⠀
I hear you, ladies. ⠀
And I’ve got something to help you, but it’s only for a few of you. ⠀
I get it. You want it so badly that you build it up to look like perfection. The problem is that we all know perfection doesn’t exist. It’s a tiring hamster wheel that gets us no where. ⠀
So if we know it, why do we still expect it of ourselves? ⠀
Is it because we THINK that’s what we see in others? ⠀
We think “their” highlight reel is real life? ⠀
Maybe not. ⠀
Maybe it just has to do with something deep inside is. A feeling of wanting to control so much because there was so much out of control in our early life. Or because that’s what we’ve always been told what to do. ⠀
It could be a myriad of reasons. Each of us is so unique. I’m not here to say. ⠀
But what I do want to say is that you can move past it. It will be uncomfortable, but you will grow so much in that discomfort. ⠀
I have a friend who is ready to walk in her health journey, but she’s not ready to do it my traditional way: nutrition + fitness to jumpstart a healthier lifestyle. ⠀
Instead we’re going to go slowly. We’re going to start by building each other up. Affirmations. Motivation. Inspiration. Then we’re going to add in the most nutritional meal that can be delivered in one delicious shake. It provides so many of the nutrients our bodies are deficient in and contains probiotics, digestive enzymes, and superfoods from all over the world. Then we’ll look at ONE nutrition habit that we can add in to our lives. I’m telling you, we are going slowly so that we can do this together. ⠀
After three weeks of this small-group love, you will feel the confidence from taking these small manageable steps. It won’t be perfect because life isn’t. But it will be done in smaller steps rather than an all-in-at-once living a healthier life. ⠀
If you’ve read this far, then you know it’s for you. It speaks to you. ⠀
I’m keeping this group to just 6 ladies who would like to go at this pace. If this is for you, click the link in my bio or message me now. ⠀
I can’t wait for you to feel proud for not “failing." ❤️
One of the very first things I started implementing when I decided to take the gym seriously was a post workout protein shake. That was step one.
Then I learned that it’s not only just protein your body wants after working out it is GLUCOSE first. No matter what you put in your stomach after you workout your body will first change that to glucose. Therefore, even if you are drinking protein your body will take that shake and turn it into glucose before it goes to your muscles to help with all the recovery.
In order to not “waste” your protein if you pair it with a high glycemic index carb, like Ignition, your body will use that as your Glucose or to put gas back in your tank. Then your protein will actually be used to repair your muscles.
The best thing to do is to pair the high glycemic carb with a rapid assimilating protein, like Phormula 1. The protein is already broken down so that your body can process it faster.

All the little things add up to big things.. Sitting here thinking about how I had fallen off the wagan back in mid August... How even through the dark time I had to work through.. I though for sure I would of lost all the hard work i did before.. Worried about all the crazy what its and started to throw myself a pity party... Till I readjusted my thinking and said to myself " it took a lot of really bad choices and bad everything to get you to where you were but you are not that same person no matter who or what says you are... You have made your mind up to overcome all that and to keep taking little steps to be the best version of you no matter what. You have learned a whole new world of strength and nothing but you will stop you"
Years ago after I finished grad school (we don't need to be specific about how long ago 😉) , I was having breakfast with one of my professors, who I’d
TA’d for while in school. I was expressing frustration about a few career-related things.
She gave me
some of the best advice that I’ve heard to date. She shared, “Everything is a baby step to something
else” and that is so true. I was trying to make big leaps because that was what I expected as an MBA. Big bold steps all the time.
Sometimes the big steps don’t come and you’re left feeling frustrated. I was having one of those
moments. I still have those moments. I try to remind myself that I can focus on the small steps and keep moving toward my goals. I can build on momentum instead
of waiting to make that big move when the time is “right.” Honestly, how often do we have a truly “right” moment?!?!? I’m a big believer in making things happen and changing things up when I see they’re not working.
These little steps help me do that.
And this is a great piece of advice whether you are climbing the company ladder or you're an entrepreneur.
What is one of the phrases that you live by and why?
