Cooking with Liam. Sunday we cooked up some Whole Wheat Chewy Granola bars. It’s always an adventure cooking with Liam. But I am trying to teach him to eat healthier and to get him involved with what I am doing. To keep from yelling ... getting frustrated too much I try to separate all of the ingredients before hand so all he really does is dump and stir. Sometimes I will leave one or two ingredients for him to measure just for the experience. They turned out looking a bit like bird seed lol but eating frozen was our favorite !
A common habit we fall into, is saying sorry constantly. You might find you do this when someone bumps into YOU and YOU say sorry to them. The difficulty with this habit is, your mind is listening. So when we get to the end of the day, your mind has recorded that you have made dozens of 'mistakes', which over time can be a sledge hammer to your self esteem. Dopiero jak zrobiłam zdjecie zauważyłam, że lepiej by było delikatnie zmienić ich położenie🖼. Wracając do poduch chyba nikt nie uwierzy skąd je wykombinowałam. Jeszcze wczoraj pisałam o oszczędzaniu, a już dziś mogę się pochwalić kolejną oszczędnością. Poszewki w stanie idealnym wykopałam wczoraj w secondhandzie. Nie muszę chyba mówić jaką mam z tego radochę. Zapłaciłam 15 zł i mam nowe poszewki, które idealnie pasują do całego salonu
One of the signs that let me know I had gone too far was when I couldn’t comfortably wear my wedding ring anymore. That was hard because I could even wear my wedding ring through 90% of my pregnancies. Today I am back to a point where I can comfortably wear it and slide it on and off my finger with no problems. #littlechanges#losingweighthappily
Done with my first week ✅ Decided to add 5lb weights to my walk, just to spice things up a little bit. I I stared off 20+ mins per mile, I was able to complete 1 mile in 18:27 mins (with weights) it’s the little changes we need to acknowledge, minor changes that will bring a spectacular end result. #littlechanges#babysteps#day7#latepost @swamchallenge #swamchallenge

• So the kitchen has been a huge bug bear since moving into our house. I’ve made countless efforts to improve it by painting the beige tiles white, the green cupboards (firstly light blue, then) grey and most recently painting the oak window sill and surrounding wood white. All of this has made a difference but tomorrow we are having the kitchen worktops replaced and this ugly multi coloured unit (which houses an integrated fridge from around the 90s 🙈) ripped out to make room for a free standing fridge freezer.🙌🏻
We would absolutely love a completely remodelled kitchen but ideally I’d like to renovate and extend into part of the garage, so for now... it’s small efforts to improve! Can’t wait to get rid of the oak laminate edging and brighten the whole room up again!✨⚪️ Bring on the mess!🙈

Recibo críticas negativas y también constructivas. Pero muchas veces me han hecho creer que mis logros son diminutos, que mi físico nunca es el ideal, que mis gustos son mal vistos.
La verdad es que yo me siento feliz con lo que soy, con lo que he logrado y con lo que tengo planeado lograr.
Y el ejercicio que hago no es porque no me guste mi físico o porque no me sienta completa, sino porque me gusta mucho, me gusta cuidarme, me gusta ver hasta donde puedo llegar. Me gusta ver mis cambios y disfruto mucho mis entrenamientos.
Siempre fui muy flaca pero me sentía súper bien y fitttttt jaja ahora me siento muchísimo mejor y sana.
No son cambios extremos, pero me hacen sentir súper orgullosa de mi. Soy mi mejor coach jajaja y mi mejor compañera de entrenamiento. Soy mi motivación y mi reto a vencer todos los días.
Kind of had a coming to Jesus moment yesterday. I took all my plastic bags and recycled them at the closet drop off. I’ve been saving all my glass bottles for Kurt‘s paintings, but from now on I’m using them as containers for left overs and snacks; however i still keep empty glass candles for him. I bought us a few water bottles that we could reuse over and over again also bought a water filter for our sink faucet. Spent about $5 at dollar tree buying reusable grocery bags. It’s little things that count I am now recycling aluminum and I also have a friend that is recycling plastic bottles. If you have any tips everything helps. One of my fave ways to make tiny edits in the food department is to swap out store-bought boxed and bagged foods with a homemade version of that food. That way, you know exactly what is going into your precious bod.⠀
We are BIG waffle fans over here, and although I wouldn't consider waffles to be a super nutritious food, they are awfully delish. ⠀
We came up with a recipe that is gluten-free and uses ingredients that we can pronounce. We usually pair our waffles with a healthy fat like grass-fed butter and we get our fiber and antioxidants from some mixed berries and oranges. ⠀
Here's the recipe for the waffles:⠀
✔2 cups GF flour - we buy GF flour from our local @sweetalisgfbakery in Hinsdale⠀
✔1 teaspoon salt⠀
✔4 teaspoons baking powder - we use Rumford baking powder which is GF and aluminum-free⠀
✔2 tablespoons coconut sugar⠀
✔2 organic, pasture-raised eggs - we love @vitalfarms eggs⠀
✔1 1/2 cups warmed nut milk - we used @milkadamia unsweetened milk⠀
✔1/3 cup grass-fed organic butter⠀
✔1 teaspoon vanilla extract⠀
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and preheat waffle iron. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs; then stir in the milk, butter, and vanilla. Pour it into the dry mixture and beat until blended. Pour the mixture into the waffle iron and cook to your liking. (We like ours on the crisp side.) These babies freeze up nicely, so any extras can be refrigerated and toasted the next day, or tossed into the freezer for later use.⠀
