I took a picture of my sweet Mae earlier and then asked Blake to join her so I could get a picture of them together.
He was being silly and kept covering her up. I asked him what he was doing and to stop. He said, "No! I want one by myself." Well okay then little man, you got it.
In case you have never seen him do it, this is how he tells us how old he is. I love the way he holds his fingers to show the number 3.
This is what happens when you have a big sister. Isn’t it just fantastic how innocent these little humans are... They don’t judge, they don’t put each other into specific groups - they just love unconditionally and they have fun all the time. I wish everyone behaved like children. They really set a great example on how life should be lived. We forgot how to love all - no matter the background, the colour of the skin, the sexual orientation. Just LOVE. When you look at this picture, instead of ‘oh my god, why is he wearing that skirt and tiara’, just look behind it, see the massive amount of fun he had trying on his sister’s clothes, imagine my daughter’s proud face when she was explaining how the tiara goes on the head. Life is too short to not love one another. Accept, laugh together, be silly.
And yes, you can judge me on the scissors lying around on the floor - no excuses for that.
I have some activities that I only bring out for Micah when I'm working with Isaac. They tend to keep him occupied for long enough for me to focus on teaching, but sometimes he just causes utter chaos.
