Whether or not you believe there are soulmates for everything, our 1st novel by @_soulmatesis , shows the souls are connected. °
What critics are saying:
“...and again writing beautifully about slices of life that I think... we don’t read enough of.” —Porscha Burke, Editor for Maya Angelou, Penguin Random House °
Loveletters are a curious camp- just Erma’s type. Her fiance, the headstrong Gambian poet is worlds apart but insists they're soulmates. There's blood and spiritual family she can't live with or without. Then one in dozens of teachers is introduced at seminary, topping them in Loveletterism... and attraction. The kind of soul connection (and eventual heartbreak) is another story. One lesson stands out in this satire about people of Allah: appearances change but love remains. °
Loveletters is available on @amazon and releases October 10th. °

The first of our Fall books has arrived in house!
Around Her, written by Sophie Bienvenu and translated by Rhonda Mullins, filters twenty years in the lives of Florence Gaudreault and her estranged son, Adrien, through the prism of twenty characters who have crossed their paths. Replete with emotional twists and turns, the book probes the failures and hopes of whole segements of society – the young, the old, families, couples, lonely souls – and reveals the proximity of past traumas, showing the bonds that unite us. Michel Tremblay calls it “absolutely wonderful.”
Do you have goals, dreams and aspirations that seem impossible and bigger than life itself? Need inspiration?
Look no further. THE MY LIFE IN STORY SERIES from Mike Clemons, Kristian Aleixo and Gail Devers offer an in depth snapshot of their lives and the struggle to break through and achieve greatness. The Bestselling three book series was co-penned by award-winning author Braxton Cosby and exposes the resistance that occurs when normal everyday people determine in their hearts that ‘setbacks’ are merely ‘set-ups’ for opportunities to achieve greatness. The blog has a new name change (formerly tmychronicles.wordpress.com).
I like to describe my blog as an eclectic mixture of writings. Combining book and movie reviews, cultural reflections, homeschooling advice, interviews and poetry, it is a repository for my musings. Please come visit, read, and write a comment!
As an indie author, I am learning a lot from my achievements and blunders. Doing the promotion and marketing for my book, and a fledging at that, here’s some suggestions for what to consider when you independently publish your book. I’ll share some things about my experience in retrospect, as well as epiphanies I am now learning as I go. Here are the headings:
1. It’s not enough to complete the manuscript. Complete a marketing plan.
2. Selecting criteria to identify my target audience is challenging and ever changing.
3. Create a reputation for your book by getting others to review it. Build outward from close cadre to influential reviewers.
4. I use Instagram to find and identify potential reviewers.
5. Create criteria for how you select reviewers of your book. I
6. Create a campaign for your book that includes YOU in it.
