Stress is often unavoidable, but knowing what triggers your stress and knowing how to cope is key in maintaining good mental health. ⚔️
Try to manage your responsibilities and worries by making a list or a schedule of when you can resolve each issue. ❤️ Often if you break down your worries and stresses and write them down, you realise that they are manageable. ⚔️
Try to avoid burying your head in the sand, and tackle problems face on. ❤️
If you find you are having trouble sleeping, or are waking up thinking about all of the things that are stressing you out, write them down and reassure yourself that you can deal with them in the morning.
Just a few of my favorite things✨
When I started transitioning into a healthier lifestyle I made lists just like this. Having healthy alternatives truly do make your life simpler! It’s easy to get overwhelmed and revert back to old habits. With simple lists like this you can easily find your alternative and make your journey to a healthier you that much easier.
I’ve also included one of my all time favorite recipes! Grainless Granola is the very first @maxliving recipe I tried and I’ve made it countless times since early 2016.
Want to sample @reciperemedyjournal first before investing in the printed book? The Printable PDF Bundle would be a great option 👍🏼

Memory issues, the struggle is real. I write lots of things down but then don't necessarily look at what I wrote. It's hard to remember to be systematic. I really appreciate supportive friends and colleagues gently reminding me about things.
Mind on OVERDRIVE today!!! I can’t stay ahead of the positive thoughts and plans running though my head. I had to grab the closest pen and paper to start actively writing them down. Today feels different...not like every other day. Today is an opportunity. Today is the day to embrace our dreams and plans. Today I took notes on the fact that we are what we do...not what we say we will do! 😘
It's been a list kind of day... actually, here lately this has been most of my days!!! It makes it easier to just see everything written down, isolated from everything else!! 🖋
39. Bon Iver - Bon Iver (2011)
The rise and rise of Justin Vernon in the last 10 years has been a constant source of surprise and delight to me. Going from beanie wearing folk troubadour to Kanye West collaborator to era defining genre maverick, bordering on household name whilst remaining very much a figure of mystery; Vernon defies expectations at every turn whilst continuing to build his cult of rabid fans. For Emma, Forever Ago was a simple record on the surface, all strummed guitars, falsetto vocals and heartbroken lyrics; it’s ‘cabin in the woods’ narrative wasn’t original at the time and has gone on to become a laughable trope of the folk genre in the years since. Yet something about that record struck a chord with a vast number of people, far more than could reasonably be expected from such an understated collection on songs. There was something about the lonely world he created, and the utter sincerity he delivered it with that was compelling to hear – there were no folk clichés, no banjo interludes, and no overwrought outbursts. Instead the simple songs were built up on surprisingly complex foundations - multi-tracked vocals, thumping bass rhythms, cyclical song structures, abstract lyrics, and a thick, wistful ambience you could cut with a knife. It’s this dichotomy between melodic and textural, traditional and forward thinking, emotional and cerebral that makes Vernon’s songs a cut above the average singer-songwriter and brought him quickly into the well deserved attention of the music listening public. The expectation for his follow up album was generally that it would be

My “everyday stuff” list. Lists are something I need and systems are also needed to help me keep my s#i + together, lol 😊 This is an idea I stumbled across in a blog I was subscribed to a couple years back (by a blogger/writer named Nate Green). The idea has stuck and has just sort of changed a little to be most helpful for my own purposes. Eg: I use smiley faces and flowers instead of an “x” or an “o” for when I do or don’t do something. This isn’t just to look cute, lol but because there could be a positive psychological benefit from using something positive/meaningful over something that could be (consciously or subconsciously) perceived as negative or neutral (example: using a flower for when I don’t do something over an x and a happy face for when I do something over a check mark). This idea stemmed from a conversation with a really amazing registered psychotherapist from London, Ontario. At the time she suggested I use a check mark instead of an O and a line through the box instead of an X.
There have been brief periods of time where I haven’t used it but always seem to drift back. It helps me feel consistent, more organized and caters to my preference to have things written down and more tangible than technology feels to me. ❤️ If you have a system that helps you feel organized or on task, I’d love to hear about it! Ps: this list of tasks might seem like a lot but it isn’t when it’s broken down into time slots (and it’s grown slowly overtime). #lists#dailylist#duolingo#elevate#organization#londonontario#ldnont#ldontario
One of the hardest things Iv had to do and learn is discipline yourself to get things done and that’s not just in business either even to the words I don’t feel like days and put the work in for long term gains.
Challenges can most definitely come and go but discipline takes many years of effort and then it’s sticking to it cause no one else is going to do it for you especially as it takes huge effort so do it for what you set out to do it all for in the first place.
I’m a gal who loves a good to do list, but for a long time my “body” to do list was incredibly negative.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It included things like: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- lose 30lb
- Eat 1800 cal/day
- Exercise 6x/week ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- No sugar/dairy/gluten ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- No fried foods ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While I’m all for setting specific and measurable goals, for me these were unhealthy, restrictive, and reinforced the belief that I would only be happy if I weighed less, or looked a certain way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That being said, I have created a new list, that is about loving my body, and wanting to FEEL better in my own skin, and it is as follows:
- Feed my body and brain nutritious and delicious food so I feel amazing and energized ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Move and strengthen my body so I feel strong and confident ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Love myself unconditionally - speak kindly to myself as I would to others ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Take a look at your internal to do list, and notice if you need to adjust some of your “to dos” to be more centred in self love and acceptance 💕 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So lately on my day off, I've been giving myself massive to-do lists and trying to get through a million jobs.
I usually manage it, but end up wishing I had the next day off as well, to chill.
Not today! Today I thought I'd be good to myself. So here's the list. It's one I'm pretty happy with 😊😊 #lists#easylist#listsmakemehappy
I don’t know about you but I have lists in my head, lists on my phone, lists scribbled on an old receipt swimming in crumbs at the bottom of my bag... it’s hard to keep up these days isn’t it?! This is definitely one of the reasons why I find myself so damn forgetful; serious information overload!! Anyone else??? Anyway, I have a #tuesdaytip to get those kiddies writing - get them to help you write the shopping list, or even help with your ‘to do’ list to lighten the load of your busy brain.. Kids love writing lists and I know there’s a very special list they will be more than happy to write over the coming weeks🎄. .

и наконец у меня нашлось время на новый список.
LIST THE THINGS YOU PRIORITIZE BEFORE DOING WHAT REALLY MAKES YOU HAPPY.
There’s nothing mysterious about a woman who writes lists. There is a certain comfort that comes with laying it all out. And then checking each blessing off, once done. And the more she shares, the less room for imagination. You start to see there’s nothing more going on, no trickery or ulterior motives. Just another good woman, getting on with every day good things —-and every day good people.
