Chandler means, "Now you can see that the pillow thing wasn't so important, compared to what Ross just said." منظور چندلر این است که حالا میتوانی ببینی که قضیهی بالش چندان اهمیتی نداشت، در مقایسه با چیزی که راس الآن گفت.

Now, we can guess that their parents are going to focus on Ross's problem and give Monica a break.
(Do you remember what "give somebody a break" means? If not, go to clip no. 20)
Out and about early today - big day ahead, running a coaching workshop for a business in Bath: exciting stuff!
We'll be talking about listening so it seems appropriate to share this reminder with you.
Happy Tuesday! •
've got a great episode of the podcast hitting the airwaves at midnight tonight...one of the great characters of the Melbourne Craft Beer scene...Dave Myers.
If you do listen to these, firstly, thank you very much! Secondly, could I please ask if you could rate my podcast page on whichever service you listen through. Apparently that is the best way to build an audience with these.
Cheers to great beer podcasts!!
Building on the information presented in L-Me Speaks: Our Mind episode 3 'Coffee: Introduction', we explore in a little more detail what shaped the country's favourite beverage, the various institutions that propagated the strict laws and what the colonial government enacted the suggestions from The Devonshire White Paper of 1923. In the last and final installment, we explore the specific aforementioned white paper and why Kenya makes only 14% of the returns from Coffee sales (in contrast to 40% in 1989). I hope you have a greater appreciation for your Morning Cup of liquid Gold #podcasts#podcaster#contentcreator#history#coffeelove#liquidgold#instapodcast#listening#instagood#instalove#instawork

As my prayer became more attentive and inward
I had less and less to say.
I finally became completely silent.
I started to listen
– which is even further removed from speaking.
I first thought that praying entailed speaking.
I then learnt that praying is hearing,
not merely being silent.
This is how it is.
To pray does not mean to listen to oneself speaking,
Prayer involves becoming silent,
And being silent,
And waiting until God is heard. —Søren Kierkegaard, quoted by Joachim Berendt in "The Third Ear," translated by Tim Nevill (Shaftsbury, England: Element Books, 1988). Wisdom from our Summer 1990 issue on attention.

Hello friends, I song Write happy birthday make it corny song So it is in folk and country fingerpicking style the bass and melody. Using C F chord and floating the Barre chord anywhere on the fretboard. That changes dynamics of a song. I try and do different fingerpicking Sometimes I used folk and the other times country. One thing about fingerpicking that I can connect the two different fingerpicking patterns together. Example, sometimes music does not make any sense is the listener loves that rhythm. Fingerpicking is all about rhythm change it up Merle Travis picking then Chet Atkins picking is different using the bass boom chick. I can just change the rhythm to a disaster rhythm. ❤❤❤ This were figure it out what sounds great that's by listening and singing. #fingerpicking#folkandstory#abc7eyewitness#listening#lissettmomtes
Communication can be tricky at times (especially if you're in a situation where you need to communicate difficult topics or discuss hard-to-grasp ideas). There are many ways communication can be made ineffective and it's all too easy to let effective communication skills slip through the cracks.
However, if you really want to make the most of your life and you want to continually strive to improve your relationships with others (and with yourself!), you must stay on top of your communicating game. Pay attention to how you communicate with others and also pay attention to how others communicate with you. You may have learned a thing or two from this post, but you can always learn more and one of the best ways to learn is by observing and then taking action.
So pay attention to what's going on around you and what choices you're making when it comes to communicating with others; being more aware will help you be more proactive in your effective communication efforts. Now go on -- get out there and communicate!
I feel like Nature is a master who has promised me everything. As long as I keep turning up. Without expectation and structure and wanting... more with pure curiousity, willingness to listen, space enough in my thinking to let my mind change.
Today as a friend lead me to a section of bushland I’d never been before, I found myself marveling at the colours of the rocks and clay- greens, reds, yellows. I found myself looking at the bark of trees with new appreciation for the fact that the bark laying strewn on the ground is actually affirmation of a tree’s growth- literally shedding its old skin. And I found a single cicada shell- one of the strongest totems of a man I love... Just as I was talking about him.
Traipsing barefoot up the hills, I found myself thinking that is feels more and more crazy to deny that Life is speaking to us. Surely this is constant communication, communion, if only I am willing to hear. -
‘ Cicada teaches communication through music – its song is easily recognizable and noticed by others. Cicada also speaks of the ability to “shed one’s skin” and emerge as something new and different in life. Coming out of your shell and expressing yourself authentically are themes of this totem.’ Goodbye old shells. Again and again and again.
