I’ve had these liquitex spray cans laying around for a couple years now and never used them .there very expensive and prob would never buy them again but,it was a lot of fun to play with acrylic paint that color matched the spray paint .and that’s exactly what I did .its a fun little challenge to see what techniques you can create having the two together
This is the most fun I’ve had on a painting in a long time ! And it’s because I didn’t do it for money or for someone else,I just did it for me and what I wanted.it was completely freestyled with no sketch
Hey, guys! It's been a while! I'm still here - just needed a bit of a break. I am feeling super refreshed and ready to be present again! Thanks so much for sticking around. So here's the scoop - I am no longer creating art with alcohol inks. The headaches that the inks and the alcohol isopropyl gave me were unreal! I tried to stick it out, but I finally had to just tap out. So I needed to find something else that would allow me to thoroughly enjoy being creative minus the headaches. I decided to try acrylic painting. Did I know anything about painting? Heck no. Have I ruined many canvases? Oh, hell yeah. But have I learned some things? For sure! And I've been enjoying every single mistake along the way. Trying something new is so exciting and rejuvenating to me. Have you tried something new lately? Tell me all about it!
On a scale of 1-10 how frustrated do you think I am ?
This is a great example of “ even though someone can be good at one genre of something, it doesn’t mean that they’ll be good at all of them. I’m definitely not as good as #acrylics as I am watercolor/ ink. I oversaturate all of my pieces with water and when switching up mediums, sometimes it can be really hard to change that mindset. I know they look Really scary right now, but trust me when I say “ I will try my hardest to turn them into appealing people: right now they look like aliens ( partially because they have no eyes )
The first day back at school went well, and it’ll feel good to have something take up my time of day again. It feels good to be productive #wip#acrylic#dalerrowney#liquitex#acrylicpaint#sexworkiswork

Calling it quits on this one. All of my art comes from a nostalgic place. I like the challenge of visually depicting things like memories and thoughts that are fleeting and chaotic. In this particular painting, I was thinking a lot about being a child and experiencing the world in such a euphoric way. I feel like I have been chasing that sense of euphoria ever since I was a child. If there was ever one thing I could go back in time and tell myself, it would be to soak it all in and enjoy it before it’s gone.
