The back is fit together. Now the ends and seat. I used liquid nails as glue rather than titebond II. Mostly for ease of use since I didn't want glue dripping all over the place while trying to make sure each board was properly in place. Does anyone use caulk adhesives in their builds? What are your experiences with it?
Part 2: #LiquidNails Solar Truck Light Upgrade
.*Confident that this will void all auto manufacturer's paint warranties. Make sure to turn the light ON before affixing to vehicle for eternity. These off-label light nuggets are possibly 'illegal' in several counties or States, but most law enforcement officials appreciate a well-lit vehicle (and a good chase RIP - 🙏 #HST ). . . @liquidnailspro
If you have an old but still functional brush that has come apart at the ferrule there is a quick and really good fix. I put this brush back together with Liquid Nails and it is good as new and completely solid. I use this glue for everything...if I am sure I want a permanent bond.
What do you think of this?
Put up some seratone for a bathroom a couple of weeks ago for another job, here's how I did it.
Using double sided foam tape, I taped a grid for sticking strength before piping lots of maxbond wood glue to the back of the board. The Sheraton is covered in a thin film of plastic which I peeled off the edges before putting the capping on. Any edges or cuts were primed with an oil based primer paint. This is 4mms seratone made from compacted board instead of fibre cement which made it lightweight. I held it in place with pre cut blocks on the floor 140mms long, to stop it from sliding.
Wood wall! I always loved the look of pallet walls and wanted to add some depth and texture to my office. However, when I got into the prep of working with pallet wood, I decided that there had to be a quicker, but still gorgeous approach. Enter engineered wood flooring. Once I got a sense of the pattern repeat and drop I needed on each row, I made a plan and install was so quick! We used both #liquidnails and a nail gun to tack the panels in place after we slid each piece in to the row below it (yay for snap-and-lock flooring!). The vertical lines on the wall are the studs, so we made sure to tack the flooring securely. The finished product was SO WORTH IT (ignore the Christmas decor ;). Enhanced with large, bold photos I framed and my office is one of my favorite rooms in the house. #youcandoit#diy#homedecor#wood#woodwall#interiordesign#design#easy#office#homeoffice#walldecor
The base is the pulse rifle is done, now it is time to start work on the added details and some clean up on the handle. Upset that the under barrel is a bit off center and could have gone forward a bit more on it but all in all it looks great. Might add some more tulip paint for it but her basics are done. #cosplay#prop#projectprop#overwatch#Tulippaints#liquidnails#foam
