My first attempt to do yoga in a long time is not going so well. Someone shed dirt on my mat then decided to claim it as his own. I guess I’ll have to do this in a dog-free zone. #lifewithdogs#yogadog#yoga
Kota and I had some fun during her session today! Although we’ve been spending a ton of time working on Kota’s mindset and addressing her anxiety by applying LOTS of structure, rules and boundaries, we have also been doing lots and lots of work on her obedience commands too! Kota is trucking right along with her obedience work and in the video we are working on her recalls, down/stays, impulse control and handler focus/waiting for command. Towards the end of the video I introduce the squeaky ball to add a bit of challenge and also a bit of fun! Kota can sometimes be a timid girl so I find adding in some play or something the dog really enjoys (toys, food, tug, etc.) can bring them out of their shell and really help the learning process! The trick is knowing how much is just enough to create momentum and motivation without going overboard to the point that the dog can’t focus. The goal here is to leverage play in a way to build IN that impulse control and handler focus but not the mental arousal/over excitement. Well done goofy gal!!! 🥰😘😍
It's true what they say, a smile makes everything better. Before I know it, everyone around me is smiling too, including #mywhy . This girl always gets my tail wagging. #smileitscontagious

I feed raw so I made this #diy#treatjar from their natural dried meat to make training sessions even more fun for him and more simple for me.
