Just cherishing these changes extra today... these vibrant leaves, my babes growing into little men... Having children definitely puts the whole world into perspective, doesn’t it? You realize what the most important things are in life—Faith. Relationships. Quality time. Life is such a gift. And there’s nothing like being with these babes right here. 🍂🧡
My passion and calling in this life is to ensure yoga, or let’s just call it Mindful Living, is accessible and approachable for everyone to HAVE A GO!
I truly believe that many of the positive values of yoga that support self growth, kindness and responsibility are all a wonderful basis for a life well lived.
Come along for the smiley ride 😀!
I just left the Service of Songs of a friend of mine, a most active member of my Alunmi, Odiri Efosa Idike, MBA, FCA (6th August, 1970 - 2nd November l, 2018)
As I listened to the tributes, plus what I know of Odiri in close association through Federal Government College Lagos (Ijanikin) Old Students Association, I was further reminded of the saying, “Not how long, but how well.”
Odiri, surely you are a true testament of the quote “When you were born you were crying and everyone else was smiling. Live your life so at the end, your're the one who is smiling and everyone else is crying.”~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
May God comfort your family, loved ones and associates, even as your soul Rest In Peace
Pardon the construction—we're getting an escalator makeover! Reminder: We're still open for breakfast, lunch and snacks during construction, accessible via the Adams St. escalators (just 55 extra steps)!
Adventures are the best way to learn 📚 . . .
I knew I wanted to have a variety of landscapes to visit when exploring Turkey. This meant a little of everything: beach, mountains, deserts, & city. And there is such a variety in Turkey! Here was our itinerary while we were there: . . .
Day 1↠Fly into Istanbul
Days 2-5 ↠ Four days in Istanbul
Day 6↠Fly into Nevşehir
Days 6-10 ↠ Four Days in Capadoccia
Day 11↠Fly into Antalya
Days 12-18 ↠ Seven days driving along the coast from Antalya to Fethiye
Day 19↠Fly into Istanbul
Day 20↠One more night in Istanbul
Day 21↠Fly out of Istanbul
So we spent three weeks exploring Turkey. We could have easily spent more time there, considering we didn't make it to the west coast near Greece, or the eastern side of the country into the mountains and remote villages! . . .
Have you been to Turkey? What other regions would you recommend to someone planning a trip here? 🎆 . . .

It’s been a week since you’ve left the world to be in a better place. It’s been a week and I still wish I could have hugged you more or asked you to tell me more stories or tell you how much I love you but I know you’re where you need to be.
No words could explain how much I’ll miss seeing you when I visit LA or you asking me “Nikita, nakakain ka na ba?” or hearing those I love yous from you. I won’t lie, lola but I’m still a little at a disbelief that you’re gone but on those last moments with you, I promised you that I’ll be okay and I’ll live a life that’s filled with adventure so make sure to watch me from up there, alright?
I love you so much, lola.
No goodbyes yet because I know that you live in me.
Till we see each other again.
Your little Nikita

So, Last night I had a lovely long deep and meaningful conversation with my Aunt in Aussie.
We talked about some very potent things, but the reason I reached out to her was because of a medium reading I had last night which I thought she may help me make sense of
During the chat we had, I expressed my soul, (my core) desires in relation to communication and relationships to those closest to me, to how I want to align my life and step into ho I am and own my truth 100% and after we hung up I went and drew a couple of cards, the first was actually for her, the second for me.
What I drew was exactly what I was talking about in the conversation - AND I shuffled the deck too many times!!!
I wanted to share this with you for a couple of reasons, firstly, that sometimes in order to move forward you have to break the mold and break out of the 'role' others expect of you (and have expected of you your entire life) AND that they may not ever understand your reasons of change or why you are different, or not behaving the way they know of you to do.
And secondly, higher self, YOU your SOUL always knows.
What we do though, is block ourselves from listening (actively listening) and as I do more of the work I am called to do, to transform, the more I understand that tuning in and connecting with soul, with my higher self, with intuition is always going to give me the answers I always knew.
So last night I drew this card - Align Your Life
And this is for you too if you feel the need to break free of the self sabotage, the toxic relationships, the limiting self beliefs, the career/lifestyle/ mundane of your every day - you're welcome xx

Our “Death by Chocolate” themed Business After Hours for The Chamber went so well! We paid our respects to our dear Willy Wonka and had too much much candy and chocolate in celebration of a #lifewelllived
I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help aid me in such an endeavor! All my gratitude! ❤️
#Congrats#classof2018 ! Of all that I do, my Smart Money Start presentations to graduating students are my favourite... Because I couldn’t get around to all 200,000+ of them, I’ve filmed my top three tips to survive and thrive in the real world (and they’re probably all new to parents...) 1. Get and keep a great credit record AND score
2. You can do debt damage fast, especially with the explosion in buy now, pay later services. And, in a big potential POSITIVE... 3. Fintech innovations can help you harness the power of compounding and a huge, expiring asset your parents no longer have: time. Start saving/investing NOW and it will be cheap and easy!
Having a sick child is always stressful but when you have a child who is chronically ill and they get sick it’s a whole other level of stress and anxiety. Even though he seems to be doing much much better with the antibiotics, Ive been on edge since he got sick. Now I question every single little thing he does that seems silly or “quirky”. As a mother of a child with epilepsy I often find myself walking a fine line between protecting him and keeping him safe and allowing him freedom and a “normal” childhood.
