Rewind to three years ago, this wristband would have been from Friday night and I would have just been waking up about now, still hungover. Ready to party all over again... Had a lush evening with my little boy in our towns Christmas light and firework display 💛😍 Completely on plan today... feel like I've been ravenous these week 🙈 eating everything that's in sight (I've eaten 3/4 of a watermelon to myself in two days 🙈🙈) I have been going to the gym more though, so I'm putting it down to that. 😂

It’s a lifestyle change....
I’ve been on my autoimmune paleo lifestyle for just over 3 weeks now and the changes I am seeing (and feeling) are really amazing. .
I have had minimal bloating and cramping, I am sleeping (going off to sleep) way better, feeling more energised when I wake up, no anxiety, improved bowel movements and just an overall sense of feeling lighter. .
I’m loving creating delicious colourful meals that flood by bloody with lots of nutrients 🌈 I’m also loving eating for the purpose of healing and feeling good. Often we eat for the purpose to look a certain a way and because of the restrictions we place on ourselves we find ourselves binging or rebounding constantly. I have really noticed a total shift in my mindset, not having an aesthetic goal or weight driven goal has been extremely empowering and I’m finding it a thousand times easier to stick to my “plan” as I’m seeing it as a lifestyle for healing. Try it - you won’t look back 😉

Hellloooo, two gym selfies back to back on my feed?! WHO AM I? 😂🤪but forreal, I felt like I had to document today’s workout because it was the absolute best workout I’ve had in a REAL long time you guys. And it felt damn good! 👏🏻
I’ve come a very long way in a lot of aspects of my #fitnessjourney and while a lot of that has been physical there have also been a lot of mental work I’ve put in. To name a couple:
1. I had a little bit of a stomach bug the last two days, so I missed my scheduled workouts. In the past, I would’ve let that mentally destroy me and those two missed workouts would have turned into a week, and then two weeks, and sometimes longer. But in the present, I’m more able to just get back into the swing of things - working out isn’t much of a “chore” to me anymore and I actually WANT to do it! 🎉
2. I think I can count on two fingers how many times I’ve worked out in a public place without my T-shirt on - last month at our corporate event for beachbody and TODAY ☝🏻 at my gym at work. I’ve always struggled with body image issues and my belly rolls especially after having a baby. But today I EMBRACED it! 💕 I’m nowhere near my leanest, but I am at my strongest mentally! So proud is an understatement for how I felt after today’s workout 🙌🏻
Anyway, long story short - embrace the mini victories and celebrate them just as much if not more than the big ones. They mean something, too! ✌🏻💕
