It’s been a while since I introduced myself and since I’m meeting SOOO many amazing ladies here on IG lately I thought it was time again.... let’s get friendly ya’ll! *I’m Kristen. I Will be 42 in December 😕My family calls me “Krissy” for short. I live in NY with my hubby of 15 years (@fit_dad_of_three ) who is a Captain with the NY State Police. I salute him daily when he gets home from work. (who are we kidding- he salutes ME- 😝) *I’m a #hotmessexpress Mamma to 3 beautiful daughters who are 13, 10, and 7. (Youngest nicknamed “Tank” bc she’s a big trouble maker ..And she doesn’t really care 😂) I am a retired elementary school teacher (I taught 13 years) who ironically enough found a fun little #sidehustle while teaching that helped me lose my baby weight, gain confidence that I NEVER thought possible (that was the ONLY plan back then) and turned me into an entrepreneur (again- not planned!) with options that allowed me to leave my JOB!
#saywhat ! I know. Crazy. That part still blows my mind! *My mother who was my bestie passed away 5 years ago this month. 😞 Man it was a wake up call. I really wasn’t so into fitness BUT that was a huge turning point where I decided right then and there that this was my path. IT HAD TO BE! #lifeisshortliveit
My family is my entire world and my hubby is my partner in just about everything! Including our Coaching biz! #powercouples
My sole mission in life is to help other women like me who maybe gave up their hopes and dreams. Maybe they gave up on themselves - I want to give them a glimmer of hope- of confidence. Of becoming the most amazing badass out of all female badasses there are! (Is that a thing?) Basically pay forward what has happened FOR me!
I enjoy making #farmhouseinspired Decor in my spare time *I love hard on the people I think are genuine. I support other women and will compliment you to the cows come home bc that’s what I think makes the world a better place! And it fills my cup! DAILY!
I love the tribe of team members we have grown over the years and I am continually on a personal growth and self love journey! I mean- why else are we here??? *SO..what’s your story??
Years ago, at my corporate job, I felt like the statement I said the most to people was “sorry, I have to work” and you realize eventually that you have missed out on all the important stuff...”The rest is just sand.” It can blow away in the wind and you won’t miss it as much! Even when I busted my butt at any job I’ve ever worked at that promised to reward me; it never rewarded me the way that spending time with family, friends, pets and loved ones has! The best decision I ever made was learning this life work balance as I got older. I’m much happier now than I was at that good job. But good is not great. Great is working hard really just to balance everything of importance, every day of your life…
Every now & then I am that mom that encourages her kids to make a big, fat mess in the house... #makeamessmonday included painting with shaving cream, making playdough, making slime & painting.
It may be a while until we do that again, 😬🤪 but this little girl definitely loved it!
Good morning sunshine!! 🌻😃. It’s a great day to be alive!! If you’re reading this, you obviously woke up on the right side of the dirt (on top, not under it!). So put a big smile on that face and go out there and cultivate joy today!! ❤️ (And feel free to share this pic with your friends....I think it could brighten their day!! )❤️
Today has been one of THOSE days - today, I’ve witnessed extreme sadness and shock (not personally , but known those affected) and experienced utter happiness, joy and elation from some dear friends of mine . Times like this in life it makes you realise you really MUST live your life to the fullest and never take a day for granted. Life is a journey to be enjoyed, learned from and ultimately to be made YOUR OWN. Be grateful for what you have, where you are in your journey , what has happened and what is yet to come. Life is short, live it✨💫💭
Missing my mom this morning ❤️ and thinking how fun it would have been to do a session with her and my sisters. Moms, life is short. .. get in the pictures. You will never regret the sweet memories that a photograph can preserve .
He may not be the biggest, the strongest, the tallest, the fastest, or the most talented, but he works hard, plays fair, isn't afraid to try new things, keeps a positive attitude, has amazing friends, & makes his family so proud!
Yesterday was a big day...he played trumpet with the band in his first pep rally, & entered into the world of school sports playing quarterback & safety in his first football games. Go, #9 !
It's a marvelous adventure, privilege & honor to cheer him on & be his mama! (& what a great bonus to get to watch his friends experience the same milestones while sitting with their parents, my friends...I love our village!)
You always have a choice, and it starts in your mind, I never visualize the worst case scenario, instead I commit to the task 110%, I dive in visualizing nothing but success, nothing but greatness, because I KNOW IT IS POSSIBLE ... I know it can be done, if you loose your fear of failing, and just GO FOR IT while visualizing nothing but SUCCESS you will come out the other side victorious, because you decided in your mind before you even leaned in, this is what’s gonna happen, I’m gonna win. 💪🏼🤙🏼✌🏼 #yougetwhatyoufocuson#thinkpositive#riseandgrind#enjoytheride#livewithoutfear#livetoride#motivation 💯
We love that feeling of newness, of freshness, and the sense of progression that comes with a change in seasons. 🍂
It’s like a signal to get motivated and keep moving forward.
That’s what this slogan vest is all about. It's about embracing life, and being the best version of yourself in each new season.

I clearly remember where I was on this day 17 years ago...freshman at Hunter College...day is engrained in my mind...may we remember the innocent who died, the first responders who gave up their lives to save others, and those who carry on the memories of their loved ones #wewillneverforget#9 /11 #lifeisshortliveit
Where were you when the world stopped turning? The day our country was changed forever.
I was in biology lab at URI. The TA put the radio on and we all listened in silence. I definitely didn’t understand the impact until I saw the actual footage on the news. I remember being glued to the TV. Everything closed down for the day. Classes were cancelled. I just remember thinking who would do this?
From that day forward, I promised myself I would not live in fear. Life is too short for that. we need to learn to love one another and forgive. We don’t know if we will get another chance.
