This morning I woke up at 4:30 and took coffee on the patio under the stars. Afterwards, I jumped on my bike and headed to Glacier National Park to see the sunrise. Riding up “Going To The Sun Road” during the sunrise was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life. Rode all the way to The continental divide at 6,646 ft. It was absolutely amazing too being on a motorcycle with no traffic! It’s been a while since I’ve been here.... it’s amazing the beauty of the Rockies and the way the glaciers have shaped this place.
During my biking adventure I got the chance to meet some really interesting people. Most of them were riding the whole CDT which spans from Canada to Mexico. A total of 3,100 miles. Hearing their stories has made me add biking the whole Continental Divide Trail to my bucket list.
It was a beautiful day for a practically 20 mile ride from Mission Bay to Pacific Beach and back.
20 miles on a beach cruiser through pathways and streets feels much easier than it does on dirt trails, that's for sure! And the people.... there's people everywhere! 😜
It felt good to move the legs after yesterday's leg day though; the weather was great and being outside by the water rocks 🌞
