Is your glass half empty or half full? .
✨I believe that a lot of what we see in our lives has a lot to do with HOW WE SEE IT!
Psychologists use tests like this to determine whether a person tends to be an optimist or a pessimist.
An optimist person will tend to focus on the good, that there is still water available.
A pessimist person, will see the glass half empty - all the water that is missing. .
✨Tending to focus on the good doesn’t mean that an optimist person is happy all the time, and tending to focus on the things missing doesn’t mean that a pessimist person is unhappy all the time.
As I said in the last post: we are humans, we have the wonderful emotional capacity to feel, to be alive. We experience a range of emotions, and our emotions & feelings play such an important role in our life, for not saying in our every day life. .
✨What I truly believe is that we are not divided into optimists and pessimists, an optimist person can be a pessimist and a pessimist person can be an optimist… it is all relative and it depends on the situation. .
✨The glass is refillable and is up to you to change your perspective of things, if you are stuck refill it an start again. For instance, if you are cramming for a final… just think why you are in that situation. A quote that really help me to motivate myself to study more is "Failing to prepare is preparing to fail". So, it all depends on you, on how you decide to see a situation, on how you decide to see your life, on how you decide to see the world. Because what we see in our lives has a lot to do with HOW WE SEE IT! #art#doodle#letyouranxietyflow#goodvibes#mentalart#artlife#mentalclarity#artofvisuals#montreal
🌸There are no labels, and as it sounds as a cliché but maybe is because its true: “It’s okay to not be okay” .
🌺This is a topic that I talked a lot with the psychologist that I was seeing last months. She made me see that I can’t be always strong and that is okay to feel the pain, and let it flow. We are humans and is okay to feel ALL of our emotions, we can't select: today I'm going to be happy, tomorrow sad, next week angry. .
🌼We are not like robots with programming's.
We are humans, we have the wonderful emotional capacity to feel, to be alive. Our emotions & feelings play such an important role in our life, for not saying in our every day life. .
🌷Pd: I created the hashtag #LetYourAnxietyFlow to show that we can create such amazing for not saying breathtaking things if we do it with our heart without actually thinking jut let it flow, and see the results. One of my favourite drawings came to life after a sad day, and that sad day made me realized how much I love to design Hot Air Balloons. One sad day generated a lot of happy days. Some people pursue happiness, but we should not pursue it, we should create it 😄 #itsokaytonotbeokay#mentalhealth#quotes#artoftheday#doodle#art#patterns#photographyislife#mentalart#huffpostarts
That’s how my anxiety looks like to me. With bright and colourful moments, as with the dark and sad ones.
I have been always an art lover since I have memory of time, but since I moved to Canada in 2015 I stopped painting or creating artworks. For x and y situations I started to feel the constant feeling of always being in a rush, that my heart went so fast that sometimes I had stopped and breath, or my long nights that I couldn’t sleep… and whenever I'm painting, designing, doodling I find peace in my body and my soul.
Since I’m a full time student I just dedicated 5% of me to create art, mostly just when I felt more anxious. Now in this beautiful summer - I'm full time again hahah- but I'm going to try to create an habit to create artworks at least 1 hour per day. I have different ideas and topics that I want to put a “voice” and through art hopefully it will reach more people.
This is one of the most sincere post that I made, and is just to say that whatever you find that makes you happy, you should try to dedicate time for it. Hope that everyone is having a beautiful day! ☺️
