Sunrise at the grand canyon was a little tough for these little ones, but they so appreciated being woken Up for it. My oldest is still mad I didn’t wake him up at 1 am under the AZ pitch black sky. They rocked this whole trip
It’s official. Mila is weaned off the ta-tas. I’ve gotten a few questions about weaning Mila off the boob so I thought I’d explain how that happened.
How it went down: Nathan and I went away on a trip for 5 days so basically Mila went cold turkey. When I came back she would immediately try to lift my shirt up and ask for “mum-mum” and you know the drill- tantrums. I’d politely decline her and ask if she wanted her water instead or I’d try to distract her with different activity. It took two days together for her to finally understand the no boobies thing. The hardest part of it all was to overcome my urge to nurse her. I don’t remember how many times I wanted to scoop her up- definitely felt like it was a lot harder for me than her.
Boob-splosion: I did have to bring my pump on the trip and I only needed to pump twice when I got back. I do still leak every now and then but I think it’ll subside soon. I’m pretty sure I got lucky at how easy that was.
I miss nursing her, such a bittersweet moment but it was time. Mila was so aggressive and constantly wanting to nurse that I had no choice and honestly Mila has been a lot more pleasant when she’s not constantly thinking about boobs 24/7 😅
This past weekend was a bittersweet moment for our family as we celebrated my brother's wedding. My brother who's been my first baby even before having my own kids is now married...! It's hard for me to process, but this picture is giving me all the feels as it reminds me of me and my own brother. These two will grow up loving, fighting and annoying each other, but in the end all I want for these two to remember is that they'll always have each other and that family will always be everything! ❤️
Thanks @cheerilyco for surprising us with these shirts!! This message couldn't have come at a better time ❤️
I always loved the Back–To–School season as a kid. August always felt like new beginnings, new friendships, and most importantly new school supplies. I was and still am a sucker for a crisp white journal and a new pack of pencils. Did you dread the beginning of August when school started or were you just as excited as I was to head back to the classroom?
We’re making the most of our new craft stash inside with these less than ideal air quality days. But I can’t stop this girl from dancing in the streets and skipping from building to building with visions of ballerinas in her head.
You recommended we watch @leapthemovie and I think it’s unleashed something magical in this little girl 🧚🏼♀️ Felicie all year here we come! ❤️

Dear instafam (those who have supported me since the very beginning and those who joined in and never left),
First of all, thank you! I feel grateful to have you guys!. I know most of you wait for Maahi's stories every single day and also text me in case I haven't put enough stories. And for some of you, enough is not enough! 🙈🙈 I have to juggle between work and baby and home so at times it gets difficult for me to put up stories but trust me, I will never disappoint. Pinky promise 😀
Secondly, you guys will agree that I believe in positive and real parenting. Positivity comes from inner happiness. Sometimes this happiness comes naturally but let's face it, most of the times you have to try and be happy. But why not? Time and again I have stressed on the importance of being a happy person which will have a great positive impact on your child and family. Millenial moms are trying their best to raise their babies perfectly, but if moms are not happy, will the babies be? .
These thoughts led me and my fellow awesome mommy friends (yes, "mommy friends" because probably that's our identity now) @candyandmumma @thereluctantmom.maitri @babyanaaya @mommynshanaya to come up with @thehappymomsclub ❤️
The idea is to create a community of happy mothers, through some parenting humour, real mom fails, some romance and much more ..... .
Join us @thehappymomsclub and you'll know.. we would love to have you on board!
One of our new favorite follows.....This kid pets dogs, takes a picture, and posts a few sentences about the dog.
I pet Maggie. She is a 12 week old Cavachon. Maggie loves chewing, and licking noses. She has a lot of energy and is bouncy. She only likes to sleep if she is next to her caregivers. They say Maggie was chosen from her litter because she was the one who loved them the most.

Brb today has already been so good and we haven't even reached naptime yet. Probably because we all slept until almost 9 am. My girls typically get up anywhere between 6-7 am.
Also, this water bottle is one of my absolute favorites, and it's from an amazing company that's making a difference for our marine life. Anyone who knows me, knows just how much basically anything living means to me, so it's so awesome to see a company giving back to this.
BriannaTh25 will get you 25% off your order. They have bottles, shirts, towels, COLORING BOOKS. Yes, I have purchased three coloring books already.
So everything was going semi-okay until I got to the neckband (you’ll see what I mean 😂) where I completely messed it up. I could have taken out all the stitches and redone it, but considering the fact that my first dial for the stitch was on the wrong setting, most of the seams didn’t come out looking that great anyways 🤦🏽♀️
Oh well, you live and you learn. Just thankful for the ability to even be able to do this much.

This precious little photo of only ONE of Belinda’s beautiful daughters, Eden, showed up in our feed today. She’s wearing our suede mulberry tulip bow from last year, and although you can’t see much of it, it melts my heart, because we have loved watching her little ones grow up through social media. 💕 I love seeing that our bows are being loved even a year or years later, and that they are cherished, and valued! We don’t make one time throw away bows, we aim for quality, beauty, and ease. Thank you for letting us be a part of your adventures! Happy 1st day of TK, to this little cutie!
| throwback to Felix’s sweet baby hair curls because I’m really missing them. they made him look like such a baby even though he’s was (and still is) 99% on all the doctor’s growth charts.
I can’t believe that this guy will be two in just 65 days! time is seriously flying by, and even so it’s been 22 months of pure joy with this one. watching him learn new things and his sweet little personality grow is the best thing ever. I love how much he loves life, exploring and that smile — it just melts me every time!
If I had a mission statement behind why I photograph family life the way I do, why I seek to capture your real, raw, messy, beautiful days together, it might be this: “Sometimes you have to let go of the picture of what you thought life would be like and learn to find joy in the story you are actually living.”
