Ben benieuwd! 🍁
Remember when the sky wasn’t smokey? I mistakenly looked at the missing person’s list from the Camp Fire, which now tops 600 people. My heart breaks for all the people wondering if their loved ones survived. It must be hell not knowing. #california
The nationalpark @gesaeuse is the right place to see the milky way and millions of stars. 🌟⭐️🌟⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You have the lowest light pollution here in Austria.🌌⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That's another reason why I love this place so much. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yesterday was very special. We managed to book a last minute trip with dolphin encounter in Kaikoura. The dolphins are wild so no guarantees of seeing any but locals @murchgeo gave us a tip off that they were expecting big pods. An absolute privilege to be able to interact with such intelligent creatures in their habitat. My apologies for the squeals in the last video, my attempt at speaking dolphin.
The Grove of the Patriarchs. This little trail was so enchanting! With massive fallen trees canopied over the trail and lush fall foliage, there was beauty to be seen all around. The dirt path led me to a river with a suspension bridge where 3 and 4-story tall trees greeted hikers on the other side. Mount Rainier is truly an incredible place. We must do everything in our power to protect our public lands and treat Earth with the respect and consideration that it and all living beings deserve.
“I find myself becoming greedy. Greedy for new experiences, new sights and cities. I’ve become an addict for adventure, and I’m afraid there is no cure.” - C.M.T.✈️ Each pin on this map represents the home of a traveler who was passing through the area. Currently I’m in the midst of planning not one but two (!!) upcoming trips and my anxiety is already through the roof. The hardest part of planning for me is waiting to leave. Where do you want to travel next??
I was driving through @mountrainiernps when I came across this bridge. As I started my way over I noticed a lone bright yellow tree in a thicket of evergreens. It was such a perfect moment that I had to pull over and take a moment to walk along the road. It’s always the little things that we look back on fondly.
Sun flares and Seattle pair quite nicely if I do say so myself. The Space Needle was constructed in 1962 for the World’s Fair, which boasted over 2 million visitors. The observation tower serves as a landmark for the age of my favorite design era, the futuristic and bold, mid-century. Visiting this beaut on such a rare clear day was a treat.
