My squats feel a lot better at the minute. Far more control and I’m managing to keep upright so not sortve leading with the shoulders and nearly good morninging the weight up. From side on the bar path used to go forward at the bottom if that makes sense. I feel strong in them and feel like I can lift much more than this 98kg for 4x5. I have lifted 120kg before but form was not as good before I got lifters. These Adidas feel far better than my Romaleo 3 and I think it’s due to the extra 1/4” lift.
The main thing is every week the numbers/reps or sets are increasing so it’s continuous progress with @adamcollard’s current strength program.
Having started training at @reebokcft recently its new for me to squat in these racks with no rails so it was a bit unnerving at first but it’s all good 💪🏻
Starting to realise the benefits of my current #strengthtraining program created by @adamcollard as today I managed 4 sets of 10 #frontsquats @ 70kg far easier than I had prior to the strength phase. A couple of months ago 10 @ 70kg nearly ended me and that was just with one set which I used to do alone on my free days.
One other change is I’ve just bought the @adidas #leistung16ii lifters and I think they’re the perfect shoe for me. 1” heel lift compared to 3/4” in the Nike Romaleo 3 seems to be far better with my lack of ankle mobility. They’re amazing! Feel like I’m controlling the front rack better which I turn is keeping me more upright.
Ended with some RDL’s as I want to try and strengthen the glutes and hammies also.
