Wetzlar.com 2018 Top 5 Leica Award Countdown! At number 3 is the latest Summilux 35mm Asph FLE! 35mm Summilux line is the only Leica line throughout its history I can think of that doesn’t have a failed or an unpopular model. You can’t go wrong with any of them. In 2018, a popular ‘one camera one lens’ for travel has returned and every time someone ask me what lens should they pick if they can travel with only ONE lens, that answer leads to this award to the Summilux 35mm FLE, it’s sharp, bright, light, best low light 35mm of any brand and absolutely perfect for travel or family photography. Special mention to its father on the left, the Summilux AA, if money is no object, get that and be blown away by the art you capture..................#🔴 #leica#summilux#summilux35
Everyone constructs a different model of the world, a “movie” in our head, a narrative by which we interpret our reality and determine our actions. These models are as unique as our experiences—nobody’s interpretation will be congruent. It follows that differences in opinion are often basic differences in the way we’re interpreting our situation; we disagree on solutions because we each see two very different problems. The sooner we recognize the subjectivity of our decisions—and the sooner we remove our personal identity we often see under attack from the equation—the closer we get to accepting something closer to objective rationality, something we as humans are generally quite poor at doing.
This has nothing in particular to do with the photo (taken near San Francisco) or where I am currently (making a sandwich on the tailgate in a truck stop in Eastern Idaho)... but I find I do my best thinking and writing in my head while driving or running, so here’s my interpretation of the past week of conversations, reading and podcasts. Make of it what you will; you are, of course, interpreting this through your own lens under your own scale.
