I'm grateful to receive this detailed compliment from a parent of a boy whom I taught How To Juggle.
We had the lesson just before the year-end holidays. I reckon that the boy, with his newly acquired skill, will find that holidays will never be the same again. :-) #howtojuggle#jimmyjuggler#learntojuggle#singapore
The future belongs to the ambidextrous person! Juggling is the best way to develop ambidexterity It promotes rhythmic coordination between the two sides of the body and the two hemispheres of the brain. In sports many of the all time greats were and are ambidextrous Muhammad Ali, Mickey Mantle, Michael Jordan and Larry Bird are all ambidextrous If you want to improve your athletic performance become ambidextrous. Ambidextrously enhances creativity. Both Michaelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci cultivated there ambidextrously and are regarded as the most accomplished artists of all time. Learning to juggle requires a great deal of grit and mental energy. Juggling will help you to increase your capacity for sustained attention and concentration. Deliberate practice is the key to improving performance and requires intense effort and concentration. Grit is long term stamina rather than short term intensity. People with grit intentionally set long term challenging goals and stay the course in the absence of immediate rewards. Learn to be the best one ball juggler in the universe
@savageprotocols!! So proud of this guy.
🔤 Getting better at juggling? Sure, yeah, we're doing that.
🔤 Learning to learn? Yup, getting better at applying principles of practice wherever we want.
🔤 But something else we're doing might be a bit more subtle...I kind of snuck it in there. We're building a creative practice. What Chris is demonstrating here is coming up with his own badass trick.
Before you know it, everyone in the course will actually be making sequences...some are aspiring performers, most aren't, but everyone will be creating.
A break from handstands... New skill in progress... 3 balls, free and with walls... Hoping very much to transition, eventually, to adding in some more changes and bouncing on the floor but, for now, I'm satisfied with this as a starting point.

5 years ago when my little company was called Shabby Cowgirl, a news crew came to my house and we talked about how changes in social media were affecting small business girls like me. Social media marketing continues to shift and change... it’s sometimes a twisty turny road . I’m keeping my little company @wildflower57girl alive even with the new job.. This picture reminded me of how very much I love what I do. #handmadebusinesslife#maker#dowhatyoulove#learntojuggle#myturn
So here's a full run down on the juggling balls currently in stock.
Tri-it beanbags are lightweight, idea for young children.
70g Thuds are a good starting ball for children, those with small hands or people working on higher numbers.
110g Thuds are the stalwart of ball juggling. Pretty much every juggler in the world has a trusty set of these. You can't go wrong.
6 Panel Balls are a solid juggle at 130g each. Similar to the thuds but heavier and a fuller fill.
Sil-X balls are a larger stage ball. They are about 150g and have coloured liquid latex inside. Unusual but not a beginners ball. 'Uglies' are anything but. These are our favs at the moment. They are beautiful to juggle and weigh 85g. They are small and underfilled making the great for numbers and stalls. Super nice.
Yesterday I decided it’s time to hit the ground running!! It was Lexie’s first day at school! I was so emotional I don’t know if it was because I was just so proud of the person she has become, excited to she what’s in store for her for the next step or worried that I wasn’t there is anyone was mean to her!? I do t know but there was a lot of tears 🙈 but I want to make the most of mine and Finley’s last bit of time with her in the week as she’s on half days! So when we finished school runs we painted elephants and talked about Africa done mark making and then we tidied up made a spag Bol then done so running and jumping to burn off there energy, they slept amazing and I went to work shattered, but happy that we had nailed day one of having a school child! ✋🏼
**soppy post alert** to me, (most of the time) my life is perfect!! To others looking in I’m sure it’s not there ideal! But I have two incredible children and an amazing partner ( husband in 40 days) I also have amazing family and friends around me!! You don’t need money in the bank to make you the richest person in the world #love#insporationalquotes#blog#parenting#liveyourbestlife#behappy#learntojuggle
This boy!! He tests me every single day and knows how to push my buttons.... but he is also the kindest most loving boy I have every met! Our job as parent is to turn these tiny humans in to adults we are proud of!! And I hope one day I can you at this beautiful boy and think to myself you done good! Being a parent is the hardest thing we will ever do and no one knows what they are doing! So lift people up and leans them a hand! We will not make the next generation great by judging others, we will do it by supporting each other!! ♥️♥️#firsttimeblogger#blog#parenting#loveeachother#helpeachothergrow#love#family#tinyhumans#nextgeneration#learntojuggle
I decided that I had deferred for too many years so I'm now 2 days into learning how to juggle. I'm learning to juggle with balls from my son's ball pit. Apologies for my serious face but it takes concentration not to throw them everywhere 😂
I always wanted to learn when I was younger but I never had the discipline to do it. You're never too old to tackle your goals.

Well it’s official—I became a juggling southpaw. As a result of the injury, my left hand became stronger at juggling than my right hand has ever been. But I still did a lot more tricks as a two handed juggler, than I can do now that I am injured. Hence, if you know of any cool juggling tricks that don’t involve one of the hands, please comment below. Even if I know the trick already, I’ll be happy for the reminder. And if I don’t know it yet, then I’ll have something new to try as I wait for my right hand to get stronger again.
We just found this great photo from a previous Portland Sunday Parkways event. Doesn't it look fun?! Come try your hand at some juggling skills with us TOMORROW! We will have interactive activity stations from 11-4, with live aerial performances at 11:30, 1:00 and 2:30! Hang out with us in the North Park Blocks on 8th and Flanders.
"Trust the process, and embrace the baby steps. People often times want to be overnight success stories, and that's not what it's all about. You really have to trust the process, embrace the little tools, and the baby steps that you make. Day after day, 30 days later, embrace all of that. Because that's what molds you into being as good as you can be. The baby steps."

Last year I wrote a #learntojuggle book (which is now available too from #amazon ) During intermission @thecomedybarn I teach everyone that wants to learn to #juggle how to. It goes very well and it’s a lot of fun, for me and for the kids.
